laFont

What does it do?
laFont is a simple and lightweight Addon (~5,0kb ingame) wich changes the default damage and zone font to a custom one.

Aren't there a lot of those Addons out there?
Yes and no. A lot of Addons change the Damagetext or the Zonetext, but I do not know any Addon that does both.
laFont combines both, change the Damage- and Zonetext. Why should I use two different Addons instead of one Addon?

To Do
- Add default colors
- Create ingame config
- Make the Addon more easy to configurate in gerneral (.lua-crap)

How To
1. Download laFont

2. Copy the .rar to your WoW Addons folder

3. Unrar.

4. Open the new folder and copy&paste example.lua

5. Rename the copy to your charname

6. Open yourcharname.lua and edit it like its seen on the screenshot

7. Now open laFont.toc and edit like shown

8. Open game and play

FAQ: Quastion and Answer!
Q: Where is the config?
A: The config is at the top of the .lua-file. Perhaps there will be more options in future days...

Q: How can I change the Font?
A: To change the font simply download a font you like (e.g. www.1001freefonts.com). Go to '/Interface/Addons/laFont/' and rename 'Font.ttf' to 'Fontold.ttf'. Rename your font into 'font.ttf' and copy it into the folder '/Interface/Addons/LaFont/'. Now there should be two fonts. 'fontold.ttf' (the original laFont-font) and 'font.ttf' (the font you want to have). Log In. Finished.

Q: Will you add more features like an ingame config in the future?
A: Yes, I think I will, but I also think there will be a laFont light and a heavy version (heavy will be with ingame config).

How can I report Bugs?
Just leave a comment or contact me ingame @ Lashaa(Mannoroth[EU])

Credits
I would like to thank Xzatly (xDamageFont) and abomb93 (aZoneText) for their Addons. Their work inspired me to do this. Thank you guys!

Was genau willst du denn "Einstellen?"

I think there is a slight misunderstanding, what i meant was i made a config for my priest named "whõops.lua".

But the font's ingame isn't changing, i thought it would have been cause of the funny "õ" in her name.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Found a fix, by adding another "end" after the last "end"
should be fixed in the newest version

yeah it is. i can not promise you, that it still works, because im not plaing anymore, but this one should help.

add
local myname, _ = UnitName("player")
@ the top of the luafile and something like this
if myname == "xy" then local font = xy elseif myname == "xyz" then local font = xyz else if myname == "yz" then local font = yz
@ the line where you declare the font.
use elseif for another name/font and else for the last in the list.

So does that mean you're coming up with a few more options?:P
Dunno, i'm not the author nor a coder myself, but i like to mix around in the code sometimes and if i find what he uses, then i let ya know

EDIT: Well, after further testing around, i found how to fix the outlined damage/heal text (not outgoing, just incoming).

Find this line:
CombatTextFont:SetFont(fontCT, unpack(CTFontSize), fFlags)
and change it to this:
CombatTextFont:SetFont(fontCT, unpack(CTFontSize), fFlags, "OUTLINE")
