• This project has merged with DHUD4 where I am continuing to work on textures with Arcanefoam.



This is Arcanefoam's DHUD3 which originated from Drathal's Hud. I always loved HUDs, but hate the bars. Back in TBC I merged Phaytal's bars with DHUD, and now I've done the same type of thing for Arcane's.

All I've done here is replace the vanilla bars with my own bars as well as the icons for "Combo/Stack/Rune" Points (Rogue, Druid, Warrior, and DK <3).

This addon is maintained regularly on wowace and I really love it. My fan updates will mirror Arcane's versions after I test them in-game, as well as any graphics tweaks of my own.

Profile Installation (Optional for layout in the pics)

Drag and drop the DHUD3.lua into your general Saved Variables (World of Warcraft \WTF \Account \YOURACCOUNTNAME \SavedVariables).

This "Default" profile has many features disabled but they can easily be re-enabled (ie borders, click through bars, auras, target and targetoftarget name, combat icon, resting icon, etc..). The outer bars are set to track threat.

Beg pardon, but what is the marking icon addon, used in lower right hand corner please? Or is that just an action bar with the raid marks keybound?

I would bring this issue up with Arcanefoam on the WowAce site. For this addon I have not modified any coding -I've only replaced the textures with my own, and updated a few libraries.

I use the addon TotemManager. But for some reason, If I have DHUD3(Tribal) on, when I log into the WoW it seems to automatically disable TotemManager somehow, doesn't even show up on my addons list(but shows as enabled on the character screen). I tried turning off the HUD's totem timers and it still didn't fix it. Any suggestions?

v0515 has been uploaded with a few changes. Subtle texture has been added to the skulls and the borders have been shaded to match my ButtonFacade skins.

Increased the size of the Pet/Vehicle bars and borders, and changed the Saved Variables to show current Energy/Mana value for the respective Player Bar instead of the percentage.

I'm suspecting this is a problem with vuhdo not including coding to hide rune frame. I will post something on his page and see if there's an issue with it. In the meantime I found a simple, low memory workaround. I've installed HideBlizzard and told it to remove the unit frame and rune frame.

I remember this happened awhile ago on my DK, but I stopped playing it and don't remember if this was a Unit Frame or HUD issue. I'll see if I can replicate it, using the HUD and Stuf and then just the HUD itself. You might find a quicker response posting in the forums here or checking DK UI threads.

-I wouldn't have thought that the bars nor the skulls were too "bright," but the bars can have their colors customized via the DHUD3 GUI. I have no plans to change the skulls currently.
-Data updates seem pretty instant to me, I see no discrepancies between my unitframes and the HUD bars.
-Debuffs/Auras can be enabled which you would have known if you had read the front page description or looked at the in game GUI.
-I've thought about doing the same thing for IceHUD, think I'll check it out.

EDIT: I added my textures to IceHUD, but as you can see, IceHUD uses only 1 texture where DHUD3 uses 3. Visually I prefer 3, or even 2, but I'll play around with IceHUD to see if it's something I'd be interested in, then see if the author would be interested in my textures. I'm not a big fan of the spacing but it looks like this can be changed via IceHUD's GUI.

well i love the bars and skull for points xD but in my opinion their just tooo bright and colorfull and the bar doesnt updates instantly like icehud does it luks like its climbing and not smooth like icehud and the from the pics i dont c it displays debuff on the targets
