LUI v2211 Dragonflight 10.0.2 Edition, with new versioning
Important:
- For technical support please go to the LUI Discord Server
To access the Twitter integration stuff, either disable the Chat module or type /share
If you are doing a new install and you see that the frames are overlapping, or unaligned, you need to move the frames yourself:
Chat (BottomLeft): Go over it and right click on "General" tab of the chat frame, click Unlock Window and drag the tab around until you have the frame in a position you like.
Omen (MiddleLeft): Type "/omen config" (without quotes) and uncheck Lock Omen, drag it around, once you're done, check Lock Omen again.
Recount (MiddleRight) Type "/recount config" (without quotes) and go to Window and uncheck Lock Window. Move it around, and lock it back up when you're done. You're free to re-enable the Report, File, Config icons if you want.
Raid (BottomRight): Type "/lui", go in Unitframes and change the Raid settings. Then move the lone raid frame with your name around. You may need to reload UI for changes to apply (Fix pending)

My interrupt announcer doesn't seem to be announcing any successful interrupts, in party or raid (as I have it setup) settings seem to be enabled and correct.
Any idea why this could be? Only been having this issue since 5.0.4 Thanks. |

Re: new LUI bars
The only 2 bars, or making them bigger or smaller: Type /bt, play with the options, add more bars, make them bigger... The side panels: /lui bars still has a dropdown with Right Bar 1, Right Bar 2... etc. (Only one is enabled by default) The new version 3.7.1 should have fixed the bars module so you can disable Bartender if you want...At your own risk, because i didnt test the module myself. It's a fix coming from darkruler. |

Re: Okay to update addons independently?
LUI Core, avaible on Curse, is indeed the LUI piece of the puzzle, because in the future, LUI is going to be completly standalone and stand on its own as a replacement of the default UI. It was capable of doing that for most of the 3.5 and 3.6 versions. But right now the addon requires the use of external addons to work. Using it on it's own right now only leads on a HUGE list of errors thrown at you...and pretty much no UI. Considering Curse dont let you do what WoWInterface do, i can't update the Curse version as of yet. I know it's not really a popular decision, but i would rather have that than the alternative. At least, like this, it makes people not just blindly auto-update and actually have to use the internet to grab an update. Hopefully along the way they'll read one of the various messages i said about this early mop version... |

Thanks for the update guys! And I'm going to do what you suggested with the locks as well (also passed the info on to a friend, cause he was having the same problem as well with his lock).
But on another note, I was wondering where the chat option went where you can edit your chat box's font style and even boost it up a few points. Its rather annoying to have to squint to read the font tbh. If there's no plans on bringing it back, does anyone know any good font addons that would help with that? Or something of the like? :C Or even where it moved? Sorry, if its just been moved and I completely missed it, I've only been using LUI for one patch! Oh also, I'm assuming its something on Blizz's end with how they changed the real id friends list a bit, because even my friends using other UIs are getting lua errors when hovering their mouses over the friend's list tab or opening it up and the like o.O

Working great with one issue (not warlock)
Thanks for the quick update to make this compatible with the 5.04 patch. I have updated it and everything is working great (setting aside the Warlock problem you have detailed below) except for one little thing.
I use the widget on the info text bar to change spec and right now it is functioning as intended (when you click it you change specs) but it does not properly show the current spec. Instead it says "Talents Undetermined" (I think). Is there a way to fix this now or will it be fix in an upcoming patch? |
