LUI v2211 Dragonflight 10.0.2 Edition, with new versioning
Important:
- For technical support please go to the LUI Discord Server
To access the Twitter integration stuff, either disable the Chat module or type /share
If you are doing a new install and you see that the frames are overlapping, or unaligned, you need to move the frames yourself:
Chat (BottomLeft): Go over it and right click on "General" tab of the chat frame, click Unlock Window and drag the tab around until you have the frame in a position you like.
Omen (MiddleLeft): Type "/omen config" (without quotes) and uncheck Lock Omen, drag it around, once you're done, check Lock Omen again.
Recount (MiddleRight) Type "/recount config" (without quotes) and go to Window and uncheck Lock Window. Move it around, and lock it back up when you're done. You're free to re-enable the Report, File, Config icons if you want.
Raid (BottomRight): Type "/lui", go in Unitframes and change the Raid settings. Then move the lone raid frame with your name around. You may need to reload UI for changes to apply (Fix pending)

crashing
Seems like its just me but my config.wtf file is causing my wow to crash before I can open it.
I followed all the install instructions. If I swap the new config.wtf file with the old one it will work, but if I put the new one came with the package it crashes when I try to open wow. Has anyone else had this problem?

at the moment i'm working on LUI v2.5 and for all of you out there you want to know what is waiting for you, here a short explaination:
There will be no changes at the UI itself. Just some small bugfixes. Support for 1440x900 and maybe some other resolutons. I'm also working on a dynamic way to fit all resolutions... The major improvement will be a configuration window! Since i added the addon LUI you can reach the Addon Options by press ESC go to Interface and choose LUI within the Addons Tab... there you can choose between many cool options, for example: - Choose Resolution (no more /reflux typing!) - Choose Skin (dark(standard), light, transparent) - AlphaSlide Effect (on/off) - ShowAll Joining a Group (on/off) - HideAll Leaving a Group (on/off) - ClassColors (on/off) - Individual Color (for SLDT, Quartz Latency, Omen) - Left Sidebar (On/Off, X Position, Amount of Buttons (12,24)) - Right Sidebar (On/Off, X Position, Amount of Buttons (12,24)) - MainBars (Amount: 1,2,3,4) The second major update will be a complete new Debuff Tracker! - DebuffTracker (On/Off) - Moblevel to Show (lvl80, +1,+2,+3) - Width - Height - Position (X/Y) - Choose your Debuffs to track! (Support for ALL debuffs for all Classes!) i have no idea if i would be the first one doing something like that... its just so awesome :-) i made a short vacation after the release of LUI v2.0 so i'm in a very early pre alpha stadium... its so much work to do. if you have a cool idea, what i should implement, tell me! everything is possible, so surprise me!

Hey there, First of all the UI Looks AMAZING and ive been long waited for the 1280 x 1024 version of the UI but.. its seems a bit.. big..
id like to change Omen / Recount to only show Top3(take aggro, Tank & me, no need to know more really.) and top5(if im not in Top5, its not worth looking.) also the Chat & Grid Background frames are a bit too big for me, so the real question is.. before i ditch my current addon package(Caith) is it easy to configure with only changing Y/Height in kg panels/<chat addon>/Grid or do i have to change .lua files for such? i just wanna cut out rougly 20-25% on chat/grid and cut omen&Recount down to ~30% of current height. Thanks in advance for answering Sintrixy - Scarshield legion. |

Re: AMAZING UI!
i made NO changes to LUA files at all. so there should be no problems by updating addons. keep in mind, making a backup is never false. PS: AHHHHHH... frozndevl was faster :-(

AMAZING UI!
First of all, GREAT job... I ditched Tukui to come to this one =)
My curse updater is telling me these addons: ButtonFacade MikScrollingCombatText Omen Threat Meter OmniCC Pitbill Unit Frames 4.0 Recount are out of date. I am kinda OCD about keeping my addons up to date, but I know compilation editors such as yourself tend to make changes to the LUA. Are any of these safe to update? |
