Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.
I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.
AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid
Thanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.
Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something! Some addons like nCore, oUF_Neav and oUF_NeavRaid have an in-game configuration.
How can I move the player, target, focus, boss and arena frames?
Use the /neav slash command to toggle the anchors to move the frames around.
How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.
Commands
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.
/ntooltip toggles the tooltip anchor.
/alertframemover toggles the "talking head" anchor.
/neavcast toggles the anchors for the castbars.
/neavbag toggles the bag bar.
/moveextraactionbar toggles the anchor for the extra action button.
The latest updates and changes can be found on Github.

Love the UI!
I was wondering if there is any option to turn off the Auto Greed-feature? Is it as simple as deleting the autogreed.lua file or do I have to manually disable it in another .lua-file? |

Hi ballagarba, I'll show you some screenshots here about what I was talkin about, with additional few info if you like to get updated
Here's the party indicator that is above the player frame, it simply tells you that you are in a party group outside of the current party/raid group, which happens if you are inside a BG or inside a LFR or inside of crossrealm thingy, but it tells you that back in your original realm you are in a party. Here's the mushrooms that are underneath the player frame & The warrior frame. Few things also, there's a blizzard indicator thingy that will be shown to the right of the party frame which tells you if a person is in a different quest-zone. You know sometimes you go with a friend to a zone and you can't see that friend because he's in a different stage of quests, A black indicator from blizzard near that friend partyframe that if you hover over it, it tells you "That player is at a different quest-zone" something of the sort, but sadly I couldn't find a friend thats in a different quest-zone to take a screenshot. |

there a way to set the chat frame size and position in lua file? in screenshots the chat frame sort of mirrors the position of the tooltip.

@Greensleeper:
I'm just gonna take a guess that you're not familiar with frame positioning in WoW, because it works for me. 'BOTTOMRIGHT', UIParent, 'BOTTOMRIGHT', 0, 0 means that the bottom right corner of the tooltip should be anchored to the bottom right corner of the frame UIParent (which is the whole game screen). And 0 and 0 is the X and Y offsets. So setting a for exameple position = {'LEFT', UIParent, 'RIGHT', -100, 0} will put the tooltip's left side 100px to the left of the right hand side of the screen. @Xully: I get what you're trying to achieve. You pretty much want to anchor the target castbar to the target frame's aura list. However, the problem is that while it's possible, the config.lua file is executed before the aura frames even exist, resulting in a Lua error. It's a bit of a chicken and egg problem. What you'd have to do is re-parent the target castbar sometime after the target frame is completely loaded. Either by waiting of an appropriate event like ADDON_LOADED/PLAYER_ALIVE, or setup an OnUpdate script which runs continously, checking for the frame you want to parent to and when it finds it, re-parent and kill the OnUpdate script. Another problem is if I remember correctly there's no (easy accessible) reference to the target castbar... @janje: Unresponsive? Hmm, gonna have to look into that... Not sure I'm experiencing that. Sounds like you're talking about several seconds late? @strickland: I believe the pink-ish guild name color is only when that target is in the same guild as yourself. Could you post the Lua error you're having please? And have you changed and values in config.lua? If so, post them as well. |

Hi, tooltip has some issue, sometimes it spam a lua error, but for most part what I noticed is that Guild color is just white instead of the orignal pink guild color text, it is only pink if I target myself and see my self tooltip

Ok thanks, I have another question in regard to the unitframes aswell, I play a warrior and druid. and both of them now have abilities of which shows a small circle icons underneath the "Player frame"
for druid, it's to keep track of "shrooms" you will see a circle and a timer under that circle indicating that you have a mushroom down, and if you have 3 mushrooms, you will see 3 circles under YOUR frame. it's with the default WoW and also another unitframe addons, but with NeaV I see that most of my circle is gone, and only a little timer at end of the player frame, which indicate to me that the author don't play druid and he didn't adjust the positioning of the wild mushrooms, if at all possible you take a look at that frame? Also the reason I mention warrior , is because he also use that same exact frame to track Banners, if I have a banner down, it will show that same circle under my player frame with a timer under it. but with Neav I can't see that circle at all under my frame. and please forgive me if that isn't a default WoW thing, because I have another unitframe that shows that, so I dunno, I just think it is a default WoW unitframe thingy. Oh, and I also forgot to mention one another thing also regarding the unitframes, the new module at default also shows a party mark that will be at top left of patriot which has something like two guys one red and one blue that indicates that you are currently in a Party outside of your current zone if its a bg or a LFR or any inside zone that has another raid/party usage, it just tells you that you are in agroup in the real realm that you are in. but also Neav is not updated with these new stuff. Just figured to mention that you might wanna know , thanks.

By playing with numbers I achieved the correct place, but if a boss or target had too many debuffs the "buff/debuff" will overlap with the target_castbar, which is a problem. in the normal behavior of target cast bar it automatically move and adjust with the buffs/debuffs rows. and making buffs on top is not an option to me because I like the frames at top left as the normal blizzard ui start with. |

Neav, many thanks for your addons; yours is one of few interfaces out there that actually shows improvements to the default ui. However, you should distribute your addons separately (for example, I only use frames, nMainbar, nBuffs and nPlates).
Anyhow, my question: how to remove the glow inside the nameplates? I want to achieve this and what I get is this. |
