Lunar Unit Frames (Arena Edition)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.26
by: sailen [More]

Description:

A unit frames replacement with the performance of an oUF layout with very easy to use, in-game configuration options.
Features:
Most of the common features from the popular unit frames, plus some new unique features, including:
  • Dynamic aura database -This includes options for priority buffs/debuffs, filtering/hiding, self-only filtering, and mouse-over buffs. Use the search feature to search for words in names, class, buff or debuff, or tooltips to instantly create custom filters.
  • Inverse/reverse health/power bar options with true transparency - This will allow the status bars to fill backwards, making them most apparent when the players are low on health. This allows healers to more easily identify who needs heals, and can also make the frames clear when no attention is needed.
  • Custom Party Filtering - Allows you to choose what raid members appear in your party. Designed primarily for the battlegrounds, this can replace the party frame while in a battleground or raid. Options to auto-add friends or guild mates is also included. Add raid members to the custom party by right clicking them, and selecting the option from the drop-down menu.
Please check the change log for the newest features. New feature requests are welcome, please comment and tell me what you like or dislike. I'll have it done asap.

1.26
- Fixed bug with random numbers when frame hiding
- Fixed bug with blizzard raid menu add/remove priority raid
- Adjusted Target Of * spacing
- Adjusted oUF_Experience bar size

1.25
- Added support for oUF Experience.
- Slightly decreased font size of target frames, and changed default options to compensate.
This was done to make the longer names more legible. I recommend going to the customize frames page, Target of *, and clicking "Defaults" on the lower left, then "these settings".
- Level no longer shows on the focus frame.
- Fixed bug that caused power bars to show even when set to zero height.

1.24
- Added option for negative group spacing. This allows party/raid frames to grow upward.
- Added option for priority aura offset. This allows auras to show in the center of the frame.
- Functions for enable/disable frames have been redone. Should be bug free.
- Reduced cpu usage for party filtering.
- Fixed pet updating when dismounting or entering/leaving vehicles.

1.23
- Significantly reduced CPU usage for party filtering in large raids.
- Fixed frames incorrectly showing offline.
- Fixed vehicle update for the pet frame.
- Fixed party targets enable/disable.
- Fixed level update on target change.

1.22
- Added option to choose MouseOver buffs key.
- Fixed bug with TargetOf* updating.
- Disabled vehicle switching of Player and Pet frames to make them consistent with the party frames. (still look for vehicle solution for raid frames)

1.21
- Updated oUF, Healcomm, SpellRange.
- Embedded ReadyCheck.
- Added option for Health/Power deficits.
- Aura searching is now load on demand. This saves about 1mb of memory and improves load time.
- Fixed bug that caused raid frames to show when not in raid.
- Fixed bug with aura monitoring.

1.20
- Fixed bug with aura spacing and frame level

1.19
- Added support for ButtonFacade for all buffs and debuffs.
- Added option to adjust aura spacing. This is to calibrate for various ButtonFacade skins.
- Added option to hide rest and pvp/faction icons.
- Added option for 2d portraits.
- Targeting npcs of unknown types now defaults to their 2d portrait instead of question mark.
- Power detail now shows for any power type (when enabled). This was done for DK's with 130 power.

1.18
- Added "Modules" tab. Disabling modules will prevent them from loading, saving memory.
- Fixed bug with pets when loading.

1.17
- Added oUF_SpellRange for all frames (accurate range checking).
- Changed oUF_CombatFeedback to show only damage on friendly frames and healing on target/focus frames.
- Lower CPU usage for frames with castbar or powerbar set to zero height.
- Lowered cpu usage when browsing the customize frames options.
- Fixed all known bugs.

1.16
- Reduced overall memory usage.
- Fixed bug with unintentional chat outputs.
- Names now take full frame when possible.
- Changed TargetOf* default colors.
- Modified welcome screen.

1.15
- Added Arena unit frames, Arena Targets, Arena Pets.
- Added incoming heal indicator option with embedded LibHealComm-3.0.
- Greatly reduced CPU usage while mouseover-buff option is enabled.
- Fixed minimap options bug with non-default profiles.
- Fixed aura table tooltip search.
- Fixed castbar bug.
- Improved default aura settings.

1.14
- Added option to show or hide percentages on bars.
- Improved load time and CPU usage slightly.
- Fixed bugs with names icons, and PlayerPet updating.
- Fixed bug with blizzard cast bar not saving.
- Removed "Set Focus" from the dropdown menu, since Addons can't use it anyway.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll take a look at this for inspiration.
When you dismissing your pet, via mounting for example it shows -xxxxxxxx were x stands for any numbers on the frame. I didn't really have the time to capture this as it only shows up for a second or so, nothing nasty but just a thought. edit: here's a picture on what I meant above.
Thanks for reporting this. I'll look into it.

The other thing that bothered was how party targets updated, I assume this had something to with the pet update module as well? Seems like it got fixed with this release at least (I think). I haven't tried it yet and will report later, because the change log stated that it was fixed in 1.23 while for me at least it wasn't.
This should be fixed as of version 1.24. If anyone is still having issues with the party targets, please let me know.

Actually I prefer your casting bar than anything else out there. It's slim and doesn't take up much space. I've tried Quartz, AzCastbar and atrCastbars but they never really made it to fit the UI. I had been using pitbull with it's built in one since the early Pitbull 3 beta, but then again once I'm not casting it leaves this blank space which tend to get pretty annoying to me at least. I must say you've made it possible to integrate the castbar very nicely with the unit frame compared to other oUF layouts which tends to have it floating around.

Before switching from Pitbull 4 to Lunar I tried oUF Nivaya which had a pretty neat way to show the experience module. But the way the castbar worked and the aura's it didn't really go to how I like to have things setup. Your raid/party w/ targets is like a dream come true. I scrapped grid once I noticed just how good it was and the same went for the castbar (no really).

Anyways before going anywhere else I'd like to report a few things namely: When you dismissing your pet, via mounting for example it shows -xxxxxxxx were x stands for any numbers on the frame. I didn't really have the time to capture this as it only shows up for a second or so, nothing nasty but just a thought. edit: here's a picture on what I meant above.

I have considered adding support for it. Here are my thoughts:

This is not meant to be an entire UI replacement. I've seen oUF addons that have mediocre casting bar features, DR trackers, and experience info, but they do it poorly and there are other addons that do it well. I suggest getting the addons that specialize in that area, and not having a weak version cluttering up your Unit Frames.

For an experience and reputation addon, I recommend using Titan Panel.
For self casting bars, I recommend Quartz
For diminishing returns tracking, I recommend DR Tracker.

On the download page, I've listed addons I recommend that are directly related to the unit frames. If a significant number of people disagree with me on this, and feel I should add support for all the plugins anyway, please speak your mind. I'm listening.

Yes, in the auras tab, you can search for "debuff", and it will show you all known debuffs. From there, you can make change their priority or hide them for any frame. If this isn't what you're looking for, please let me know.
I'm with you thus far, and it isnt terrible difficult to manually find the debuffs which are applied in the various raid encounters, I was just thinking of something along the lines of adding an additional option in the dropdown box located on the Auras tab of the config interface. Perhaps something like "Raid Debuffs" and another with "Raid Buffs", in addition to "Alphabetical""Class""Buff/Debuff"

Just a thought. Would really allow for raiders to use raid frames as a complete replacement for grid (especially w/ auras showing up directly over the corresponding units frame). Again, thanks for your work mate, excellent stuff.

If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the bug report. I'll look into this.

Edit: It's currently bugged. It should be working correctly in the next patch, version 1.24.

I just added that feature, it will be in the next patch. You'll be able to change your group spacing to a negative number, and it will grow from the bottom.

I am unable to toggle the priority auras all at once for a given frame, such as my target frame, which means I need to click every single aura individually to disable them. I know about the button at the top of the options window, but when I click it, it does nothing.
The first time you click the column title, you should be getting a popup prompt that says "Do it" or "Cancel". when you press "Do It", it should change the settings for that entire column. If you're not getting the prompt, please let me know.
Thanks for the bug report.

Hey there, I just recently downloaded your addon, and am really enjoying it so far. Yet there is one problem I am having that I can't seem to fix, and it's very troublesome.

I am unable to toggle the priority auras all at once for a given frame, such as my target frame, which means I need to click every single aura individually to disable them. I know about the button at the top of the options window, but when I click it, it does nothing.

Clicking 1k+ auras for each frame is just terrible, so if anyone has a fix for this, that would be amazing and much appreciated.

Thanks

Ah, yes, that would be great, most excellent. Is there a filter in the Auras configuration panel for raid debuffs currently?.. Thanks again mate.

Essentially I am trying to to allow for a Grid Icons type scenario, debuff icon on a grid raid frame. Even better, to allow for 2 or 3, maybe 4 "priority" debuff icons on each raid frame.

Life would be good. =D

::EDIT::

Though not totally versed in Lua, Ive discovered the following code @
http://www.wowinterface.com/download...Highlight.html

I am just uncertain exactly how to implement it. Its very possible I am out in left field, and the following code has no relevance. =/

Hope to hear back from you.

Code:
local dbh = hp:CreateTexture(nil, "OVERLAY")
dbh:SetWidth(32)
dbh:SetHeight(32)
dbh:SetPoint("CENTER", self, "CENTER")
self.DebuffHighlight = dbh
Code:
self.DebuffHighlightUseTexture = true
