WARNING This has been deprecated. SUF 4.0 has it built in, you can delete this addon and update SUF.
Adds aura indicators to Shadowed Unit Frames, primarily this is for healers who want information such as what raid member is missing Mark of the Wild, or who has X debuff that they need to heal the raid member for quickly. Unlike the old version, you can now use this for all units not just raid members, and it's not restricted to only friendly players. You can set it up to show an indicator on the player frame while Slice and Dice is up, or show an indicator on an enemy if they are Cycloned.
Indicators can be configured to show an aura stack, show an indicator for missing auras, show the aura icon, show a set color and even the duration on the aura. If you want to see the time left on the aura as a visual number you will need a mod like OmniCC. Auras can be enabled per class as well, should you want to see players missing Mark of the Wild on a Druid but not on a Priest. There is no limit on the amount of auras or indicators you can have.
By default, this is only enabled on raid units. You can enable it for more units by going to /suf -> Aura indicators -> Enable by unit.
Slash commands: Opened with /suf (/shadowedunitframes), adds new configuration option "Aura indicators"

Addition to Question
Would it be possible to add something along the same lines, mainly the ability to show who has a a Soulstone on them or even add the ability to show who still has a healthstone?

The options are set to display icon instead of just a colored box and instead it shows a transparent box with black outline. |

Getting this error when just switching between the different pages within Aura Indicators. I have and can still add and make new indicators and groups... Gooofy: In the future Game Menu -> Interface -> Help -> Enable Lua Errors will help debug something like that, if you get the error again let me know and I can fix it.

I think this is an error.
Under add auras config menu, i'm unable to add new auras. The UI boxes to add new auras just disappeared.... Attached a screenshot: EDIT: I managed to figure out what caused the UI elements to go missing: I managed to get back the: Aura group (Drop down) / New Aura Group (Text Box) Add Aura (Button) by doing the following: Looking for the part :
The code I pasted is only an example of what I deleted. To find the actual lines of code that were breaking the UI, All i had to do was add a new Aura and immediately exit the game without doing anything else, and search for that aura name in the ShadowedUnitFrames And deleting it. To reproduce the bug, All i had to do was add a new aura, not assign the aura to any indicator and relog and the UI elements will disappear again. If I immediately assign the new auras that I added to a indicator, the add aura UI remains functionable after a relog.

By default indicators are enabled for the raid frame, you just need make sure the auras are set to show inside an indicator under Aura indicators -> Auras.

I have 25man raids tonight and I was just wanting to confirm something real quick..
Indicators are enabled by going into /suf -> Aura Indicators, then enabling them on "Raid" right? I just want to make sure because last night I was using a buggy version of indicators and could not see things such as the debuff for Lord Jaraxxus and the debuff on Anub'arak. I'm not sure if the addon was bugging or of I wasn't enabling it correctly.. -J |
