What is GupPet:
GupPet is an add-on that gives an extension for mounting and calling critters. By a single click it mounts a ground, swimming or fly mount depending on the players location. Because most players have plenty of mounts and companions, and you probably like more than one, the add-on can randomly select mounts/companions depending on the selections in the option menu.

Basic Features:

Randomly selects a mount / companion location dependent.
Class support for Druids , Shamans and Mages.
Automatically summons a companion
3d model preview
And many more ! ( Would be a to big list )

In game usage:
There are 3 types of controls.

Action buttons (Adds buttons and are move, hide and scalable.)
Key binds
Slash commands

How it works:
GupPet uses a small database to split the mounts that the player currently has learned. The splitting is based on type (ground, swimming or fly) and speed. When using the auto mount function the add-on will always try to select the fastest possible option, but if you can fly in an area the add-on select the flyable over the ground type. If your are swimming the aquatic will be selected above the other two types.

For the critters GupPet uses a small database to detect if a critter uses a type of reagent to call it, for some types you need a snowball. The add-on detects if you have that reagent with you and if not, the add-on won't select that type of critter.

Language support:
The languages that are currently supported are English , German ( Tnx to Farook at Curse) , Spanish ( Tnx to StiviS at Curse ) and Russian ( Tnx to StingerSoft at WowInterface.) With the none-supported languages the zone detection is not supported and therefore forces the two mount action buttons.

Commands
The start command is '/GP' or '/GupPet'. ( The mounting slash commands don't support abilities with spells )

Known Issues:
If you or a patch clears your WoW Cache folder, you may experience an invalid list of mounts or a failure to select some mounts for your first login after the cache was cleared. Try logging out and then back in.

I especially liked the configuration update that came in the last release or so. I think I may have found a bug, with the release of 3.2. Everytime I use the whistle to call the orphan for the new Northrend Children's week quests guppet summons one of my companions, which causes my orphan to go away.

I like the idea that you can see other players the collected mount / pets and then compare the things if the got the addon ofc. The problem on the wisper part is that players with lots of mounts could give a spam action in the chatbox.

On the actual toon character sheet is it possible to add the number of pets or that bar from the Collect me option. That why when someone asks it's quicker to mention. I was also wondering if there is a way to do a compare feature. I would type in /gup comparepet Jake(who also has the addon) and would get a pop up. "Do you want to compare pets?" Once you click yes, a box would pop up saying "you have 37 pets in common, Jake also has blah blah blah, you also have blah blah blah. This would be great for us collectors to compare notes for fun. Finally maybe just a list function for people how don't also have gup or just want to know which pets you have. /gup listmount. They could get a list just listing the links in the chat box as a whisper. thanks

This addon creates only 2 dummy frames but there not attached to the screen so that wont do anny. I never noticed unclickeble targets so its not my addon ... To iron the problem out you could better disable all your addons and enable them one by one.

( Now only the family part ) - Shift click on an icon will link the spell in chat - Alt click on an icon will link the spell in chat with the data where you can find it - The addon saves the data from all your chars and display what your other chars have collected. Not sure why, but it seems that the Iron-bound Proto Drake is supported, while Rusted is not. Please fix this so I don't need to switch to another mount mod!

The filter part in the Collect Me section needs some work. The family part would be a good addition.
