QuestGuru is a Quest Log Enhancer.
If you are looking for the "Classic" version of QuestGuru click QuestGuru_Classic
I have split off QuestGuru and QuestGuru Sounds into two separate addons that don't rely on each other so that the community that really missed the sounds can have them with me delaying them because of the qork being done on QuestGuru. I hope this makes at least some people happy.
You can click > QuestGuru Sounds
Note: If you like this addon, please "Like it" on Curse.com.
All Donations support me and I thank you in advance for it.

FYI guys the old one works just fine except for the quest lock.
Mr. obrien, could you just fix the quest lock and release as a separate addon?

I'll have to look at it more. It was hard to get the spacing right on the PTR because Blizzard had their feedback elements everywhere. The right hand side, and in fact the entire quest log, is Blizzard's, I just tap into it to change a few things, but QuestGuru is not a replacement or copy of their code.

Not sure what everyone else is going on about; the quest log seems great to me.
One issue in 3.3. In the quest display (the right-hand pane of the quest log), if the quest contains a required item, the Description heading and all subsequent content doesn't reparent to the item (or move itself down to make room for the item). So the "Description" header overlaps the item. This is quite obvious in many quests, including several of the Argent Tournament dailies. I'm sure it's a simple Lua reflow technique that didn't get copied from the Blizzard quest log Lua for 3.3. (I also maintain a quest log add-on, so I'm familiar with what patches generally do to these.) Just cosmetic. Thanks! |

This appears to be related to QuestGuru Tracker. Appears occasionally when mousing over the tracker window.

I'm sorry to see you removed the custom quest log. One of the things I liked about QuestGuru was the large collapsable quest log. I hate Blizzard's implementation - the size just isn't big enough for me. I started using QuestGuru because it replaced several addons I was using. Just sayin'.

Mass reply
I'll hit on a bunch of points in one post:
QuestGuru is no longer a quest log replacement. The quest log you see is Blizzard's built-in quest log, with a few enhancements from QuestGuru (thus the different size and missing expand/collapse button). I realize the History has less information per quest than before, but it also now lists every quest in the game (roughly) so you can figure out what quests you missed. The header of each section shows you how many quests you have completed out of the total for that section, and by looking in the section you will see "(Complete)", "(Active)" or nothing (meaning not complete) to tell you what you have and have not done. Future versions will include filters for the History so you can choose to show only completed quests, or only incomplete quests, or only quests for certain areas, etc. |

Since it became quickly obvious that my suggestion isn't very good for all users, I'd like to request any implemention of settings profiles. Don't worry if you don't want to or don't have time, though -- I just changed my version to save settings across all toons, so it works fine for now. |

Miss old history
Ok, I really, really, really miss the old history. It's nice that Blizz gave us a way to query the server, but the result is far far far from being really useful.

could you put back in the expand/collapse all button so i don't have to do it for each zone. Also the window is smaller now and on long quest descriptions i have to scroll to see the whole thing where i didn't need to before. Just small things but i did notice them missing.
