Peggle Add-on for WoW  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v1.02c
by: PopCapGames [More]

The Peggle Institute has opened a branch in Azeroth!

After we successfully brought the Bejeweled experience into WoW, the PopCap Guild decided to tackle another of our favorite things: Peggle.

We wanted something more competitive that we could use to settle loot disputes and challenge each other while we waited for that last raid member to log on. We've packed in some great touches for the add-on version of Peggle, and now it's ready to be shared with the world!

Features Include:
* Quick Play mode with 12 stages based on major locations in WoW.
* Two Peggle masters, alongside a Peggle Talent Tree!
* Duel Mode: Compete in a quick match against other players!
* Challenge Mode: Create custom leaderboards for friends and guildmates!
* /peggleloot: A hilarious new way to "roll" for loot! Best shot gets the item!
* Free! Yes, absolutely FREE!

How To Play: Peggle Add-on for WoW installs like any other mod.
Simply extract the file into your WoW Interface/Addons directory,
then launch WoW and type /peggle to play!

v1.02c is a toc update for 3.3

v1.02b is a toc update for 3.2

v1.02a
- Fixed an issue where Battle, Duel, and Peggle Loot communication wasn't going thru.

v1.02
- Added a new feature that will display a chat notification when the user recieves game data from another user with the original version of Peggle (1.0). This notification will let you know that they are using a very outdated version, and to let them know so they can update, otherwise they can't play with Peggle users with later versions.
- Added a new option to the options screen, called "Hide Outdated Chat Notifications" which will hide the Peggle 1.0 user notifications.
- Added new code that will prevent communication from users with outdated Peggle addons. In order to Duel or Battle other players, they will need the same version of Peggle.
- Added a new Brag window, allowing the user to select what channel to brag the results to (Guild, Party, Raid, or a player-made channel that the user is currently a member of)
- Changed the "Publish" button to called "Brag" in order to bring the button in line with what it actually does.
- Removed "Default Publish Channel" from the option screen. This feature is now built into the brag screen.

v1.01a
- Reactivated the free-ball bucket.
- Added command "/peggle achievement" to view the easter egg once you've unlocked it.

Version 1.01:
- Fixed the ColorBline error that would also cause green pegs to stick around.
- Fixed the challenge mode error that would freak out occasionally with more than 7 participants
- Other small fixes that would occasionally throw errors
- Added a outdated version check that will notify you when it detects a newer version being used on the server.
- Added the command "/peggle resetwindow" for people who were having problems getting the game back after moving it offscreen.

If you are using a tooltip addon, which one might you be using? Also, do you happen to have Docking Station installed?
I get this same error using aTooltip, and the addon wont work at all unless I disable the tooltip mod. Just an FYI.

Your challenge mode information, if you have any, might be corrupted. There is an issue in the current build that relates to challenges of a certain amount of people being invited. These issues might be related to that, so the quick fix is to just wipe your challenge mode data. Any challenges that you have right now you won't be able to participate in, but new ones you will be able to. However, if someone makes a challenge of more than 7 participants, you might have this issue again.

Here's how to purge your challenges. Simply paste this into your chat window and hit enter:

/script PeggleProfile.challenges = {}; ReloadUI();

and sometimes when I hit a green block I get:
Interface\Addon\Peggle\Peggle.lua:593:attempt to concatenate global 'colorBline' (a nil value)
We've fixed this for the next version. Like ChaosInc said, it's a typo To avoid this issue, I believe you just need to make sure you don't have any talent points in "Unintended Awesome"

Also, I know this sounds strange but whenever I play on Darn the middle two blocks of the bowl in the center are missing o_O
That's an odd one. If the challenge mode fix that I asked you to try fixes the first set of errors, check to see if this issue is gone as well. Also, if there is ever an issue that pops up in the addon, there is a very good chance that parts of the game will be broken as well as a result. I'm hoping that is the case with your brick issue you're seeing.

We should be dropping a new version very soon. We're still testing some of the bug fixes we have and tightening up some loose ends that were discovered. Thanks for the bug reports!

Small Suggestion

Would it be possible in the next release to have in the duel page (or its own), that would show you the list of people in your guild (Guild only imo) that has this addon installed.

It was just a question. Thanks to Slakah for actually giving a straight answer.
EDIT: meh, i really don't want an arguement.

Concerns about complying with the "new" addon policies were discussed during the beta stage of development. It's fine. Please don't try to start something out of nothing. Just enjoy the game.

It's luasrcdiet it compacts it decreasing size/memory usage and should make it compile faster, but as for your question the juries out, although I very much doubt Blizz would ban it.

It's free, it does not beg for money in-game or advertise anything, its code is not obfuscated, it does not contain anything "offensive", and it does not otherwise violate the WoW EULA or ToU. If you're going to ask if an addon violates Blizzard's addon policy, at least have some reason for doing so before you make posts like this that cast doubts on the integrity of the addon and its authors.
