With rage, you have to build up before using many/most abilities. It would be nice if TMW would take that into account and only show if there's enough power for the ability.

Also, what do you do with different forms. I don't want to see bear abilities while in casting or cat form. Is there any way to deal with this?
Short Answer: Yes i play a druid. NO you can't do that

Longer Answer: The addon doesn't check your mana/rage/energy or stance/form. This seems like an insteresting concept though and i might look into adding support for it. But don't get your hopes up.. RL is slowing me down quite alot lately

PS: New Version released. Should fix memory issues

EDIT: NVM - forgot to turn on Show Timer.

Edit #2: Not working correctly for Kill Shot. I want it to only show up while in combat when the target's health is 20% or less and want it to show a cooldown timer. The timer is working but the Kill Shot icon is visible all the time once combat has started.
edit:

Still not having luck. I can't get Kill Shot to only display the icon when Kill Shot is useable on the target AND show a cooldown when it cannot be used.

Hi Ooze, I suggest you pack your file to be named as:

TellMeWhen_ORIGINAL-AUTHOR-RELEASED-VERSION or YOURS-VERSION_FanUpdate.zip

Lieandswell has released his version update to 1.1.2, and I roam his code, not support SpellID like yours, will you throw us a 1.1.2 FanUpdate version?

Found some variables that where global instead of local . Changing this reduced the buildup some. However there is still a buildup the longer you stay in combat. I am at this point not quite sure why, but I am investigating. As for my other plans and your requests. I'm gonna see what i get done this weekend. The week have been kinda hectic

So long as you are tweaking/updating TMW (thank you btw), any chance of looking into support for ButtonFacade?

Renamed my Interface and WTF folders, created new ones, only installed latest verison of TellMeWhen from WoWInterface.com, and started beating on a target dummy. According to the default WoW UI, when I mouse over "Game Menu" I can see TellMeWhen start climbing in memory usage from ~200KB to 600KB after about 3 min on the target dummy. When I stopped attacking, it stopped rising but only went down to 345KB.

Took a min break then went back at the target dummy. This time after about 3 minutes, TellMeWhen's memory usage went to 1.3MB and was steadily climbing until I got out of combat.

Third target dummy beating resulted in the same results: a steady climb of memory usage over the length of combat. FYI, the memory usage climbed even when I did NOTHING but white damage for a couple minutes, i.e., no debuffs of any kind on the target dummy, not even FF.

Btw, I had only the following buttons config'd: FF, Mangle, Rip, Rake, and SR. The night I noticed this in Ulduar I had many more buttons config'd, which may account for the even faster rise in memory usage.

I'm praying you can fix this issue because I have tried other mods since my initial post, like BadKitty & DroodFocus, and they are not nearly as configurable or as uber as TellMeWhen.

Anyone else noticing the huge memory footprint of this addon especially during boss encounters?

Btw, I've been using this addon since LK's release and have never noticed TellMeWhen's memory appetite. Great addon but I'm likely going to drop it for BadKitty since it apparently has issues.

First off thanks a bunch for updating this addon .

Abilities such as Overpower and Revenge function on a reactive level, but they also have cooldowns. If there was a way to only show their icons when both reactive AND cooldown conditions were met it'd be perfect.

update, there is a conflict with one of my mods.
I disabled all mods except tmw and spammed flash heal.
sure enough all icons show properly

now I just have to find out which one is causing the issue

EDIT: HAPPY FRIGGIN DAY... it seems DBM was the one.
Remove that and I'm good to go !
