oUF_Slim is based on oUF_Nivea and updated to work with oUF 1.5+ for WoW patch 4.x+ / Cataclysm.

*** Do not use the standalone oUF_Smooth plugin while using this layout, aka remove it from your addon folder or disable it. It will mess up bar updates, otherwise. Thanks to Ke11ett for finding it out the hard way.
NOTE
Player buffs/debuffs are not part of the layout. Simple reason is blizzard going secure on them, which means you can't right click them off with oUF currently. This is oUF core related and has nothing to do with the layout. Therefore you have to use the default blizzard buffs or something like nivBuffs that replaces them with secure functions and thus still allows for buff cancel. |

Is it possible to have the raid frames toggle on/off or have the visibility change depending on if your primary or secondary talents are active?
ex: I want the raid frames displayed when I go Ret (primary spec), but hidden when I go Holy (secondary spec) |

Where would i insert the BuffFrame:SetAlpha(0) in the file to remove the default Blizzard buff showing?
Also, i'd really like to scale down the unitframes as i find them to be pretty huge. How would it be possible? Thank's and keep up the good work. Amazing looking frames UPDATE: Figured out how to scale the unitframe by looking at your other UI compilation (Aion) which had the scale function in it

Hello,
I've recently switched over to using oUF after using the Blizzard UI for most of my time playing WoW. I am enjoying oUF_Slim, but I am having great difficulty of adding other oUF plugins to work with it. I've found the documentation on oUF in general to be very poor to users not readily familiar with LUA, and I've also been scouring other oUF layouts to figure out where I am botching my "copy & paste" problems to try to get some of these to work. I would offer $15 PayPal to someone who could readily get these plugins to work with the oUF_Slim layout: oUF_Experience oUF_RuneBar oUF_Reputation oUF_ThreatFeedback oUF_TotemBar I'm going to continue to attempt to figure this out on my own still, but this offer is open, just PM me. I might add some support for those, however if you really like to step a little deeper into oUF (which I HIGHLY recommend!), try looking at layouts that have support for those plug-ins. Compare the code. Read the plug-in descriptions and enjoy the pleasure of figuring out a little bit on your own.

Hi there
There're some strange problems after this 3.2 patch. I can't see my "target's Level" which used to be next to my "target's name". And there're some tiny little colorful dots above my "target's HP bar". Is there any way I can fix it or will you release a 3.2 version? So far I just changed the version number to 30200 in .toc. I really like this layout a lot, and I really don't want to switch to other UI just because of this silly patch. thx~ |
