Re: Re: Memory usage getting high
What people don't understand, is that it's not memory that's a problem when looking at addon overhead, it's cpu useage, how much a addon is querying, etc... memory is the least of people's problems these days.
Thanks for the update to this fantastic addon. |

Re: Memory usage getting high
Such is the sacrifice you pay for wanting historical data. In the overall scheme of things, though... 20mb ain't all that much, if you have even a semi-decent machine with a reasonable amount of RAM. Try disabling AuctionLite and see if you even notice the difference? If not... don't worry about it. |

Memory usage getting high
This addon used to be low memory and now it is creeping up on 20MB. This is by far the most of any addon I use. Is this due to the scan database bloating from many, many scans or is something else going on. I can clear the database, but then I loose many months of historical data. Is there anything else I can do?

I recently rebuilt my UI after a few months away from WoW and decided to focus on performance. The difference between this and the horrendous bloat-monster that is Auctioneer is night and day.
Great job! Thanks! |

I did a full scan and then tried to add a pair of engineering goggles to the AuctionLite sell tab and get the following error:
Code:

2 feature requests (1 oddity)
the oddity ive noticed is: when you do regular scans of certain items (like i do with favorites) sometimes there will be items that are for sale at WAY under the norm but it wont list that as the price on the buy items listing for example say Abyss Crystals usually sell for 37 gold and today several of them are for sale for 36 but 2 are for sale for 20g (this is an actual example) obviously the 20g is a great deal, but when i do the listing by doing 'show my favorites' it lists all my favorite items, including abyss cystals, and it shows market price for abyss crystals for today is 36g, historical is 37g it doesnt indicicate that any are for sale for 20g unless i open the listing for that specific item feature request 1: is there a way you can indicate the dirt cheap price on the grouped listings? like either highlight it somehow if theres a deal on it , or have another column for lowest price or replace market price with lowest price? feature request 2: can you set it up so theres a hotkey to go from the item specific buy listings back to the group items listings? ive been having to go into each favorite item listing 1 by 1 to check if there are any super deals on my favorites and then back, then into another, then back, its alot of clicking all over, would be alot quicker with a key to go back so i can have my mouse in the right general area already thanks, and this is a great addon i really enjoy it |

Is it; will it, be possible to queue selling?
Like I give the order to set 20stacks into the AH, and then want to continue with giving new orders for the next item; while the addon still adds the 'old' items into the AH. |

Possible to make a lower undercut options lower then 1%. Maybe there is already a option like this just I do not see it.
Sometimes when you undercut something really high priced it can undercut it more then I would like and I have to manually enter the price. |

Would it be possible to add an option to take off a tabard when the AH opens then put it back on when the AH closes? Making this an option would probably be best.
Reason: When trying on different armor types in the AH, the tabard covers it up and I'm unable to see what it looks like - thus having to close the AH, take it off, then redo everything in the AH. If you don't want to add it to AL, I'll request it in the addon requests forum |

Re: Fast/quick scans locking up game in latest release...
If this is indeed the problem, the solution is to do slow scans for a few days and then switch back to fast scans. If this solves the problem, let me know. With the above said, I'm not completely certain that the item cache is the culprit, and these sorts of errors have been lurking around for several versions now. If you have any additional information about when these errors occur or how to track them down, please let me know!

Fast/quick scans locking up game in latest release...
I seem to be running into an issue with the fast/quick scan feature in the latest build. The wow.exe application process completely locks up right after the scan finishes; all on screen activity freezes but the mouse cursor still moves, mouse buttons and keyboard commands stop responding, etc. Unfortunately there are no error messages or any other indicators as to what could be causing problems, although my first thought is that is getting stuck in an endless or recursive loop of some kind. As far as I can tell the normal/slow scans work perfectly fine, it is just the fast/quick scans that are affected. I have tried erasing all of the store pricing data and that has not had any effect. I will be removing all traces and reinstalling an older version in just a bit to see if this doesn't fix the problem.
EDIT: As it turns out I was using version 1.5 rather than 1.5.1, which seems to be the latest version available. Updating to 1.5.1 did not fix the problem. Now downgrading to the most recent 1.4.x release.
