Main purpose of creating this UI was to create a lightweight interface that runs on my shitty PC, without losing to much utility and without looking like crap.
The name simply comes from my oUF layout. This UI is build around it.
The UI basically doesn't need a setup ingame, since version 1.9. All custom settings can be done by lua.
oUF_Asym UI is made to work for 1440x900, it works out of the box for 1680x1050 and 1920x1200, ... should work for all widescreen resolutions.
It comes with A LOT of different bartextures and fonts, see oUF_Asym fonts/texture folder and dArt folder.
There is also some nice art to play around with located in dArt/Art.
i.e.
I don't use any UI scale at all. I don't have this option checked. Or in other words this UI is basically build around an UI scale of 1.0. If you are using another resolution as 1440x900, you might have to adjust your UI scale until it fits. |

minor complaint for ractionbuttonstyler: I don't know how this would look with nmainbar, but with free floating buttons, the grey omnicc whirl for cooldowns/GCD is to big for the button size. This is just the case with your darion textures, all other available textures for ractionbuttonstyler work fine with omniCC whirl-thingy.

@Great White Cow
I only play healing classes, I like my castbar right there. Btw, 2.3 is pending.
I don't think I will do this, sorry.

couple other requests/things i noticed...
sometimes the portrait doesn't appear unless i click target something else and then click target back. It seems like it only happens when something causes me to auto target.
mana on the player frame doesn't do the numberize deal with the 10k and im tired of looking at really long numbers. can you point me in the direction of how i can get rid of health% and have health value show all the time? same with mana, i want to see it always. i just want shortvalues for both. i was messin around with the oUF if you can't tell and i've been following you're progress with this UI for awhile...glad to see you ditched azcastbar and just shoved it all in oUF, not as glad to see the way you set up castbars is like anti-healer castbars! i was playing with it and moved it all around and such, after i get the values working like i want i might share my reworking of your UI if you don't mind. Oh one more thing...I want my buttonskin! Keep up the awesomeness! |

check it out
I took the screenshot while hovering over the bottom button on the sidebar, and while holding down buttons 2 and 3 on the bottom bar bottom row, see how some of the textures spill over?

@Great White Cow (and partly ashopedies)
I know that rActionButtonStyler doesn't work well with dBars buttons, the icon overlaps the border a little. But I have no issues with nMainbars Buttons. A screenshot would help! The "downside" so to say is that the new border is very dark, that means it doesn't have lot to offer for vertex colors, since those would work best on plain white and the darker it gets the less they show up. I could try to work around this with offsets or a different alpha channel. I'll look into this. @ashopedies Thanks, I would love to see a screenshot of your UI. However, I don't know if it's possible to exclude only castbars from spellrange, it might be. But maybe at the cost of the whole range check for that particular frame. I'll look into the issues you mentioned. @sush As you probably know, your own debuffs are done with nBuff, however it anchors everything to each other, which makes it hard to position them independently, sorry. |

Normally I'm really annoyed by compilations that get extremly frequent updates and I only update stuff if something is really broken. But you just manage to sneak in both functional and slick graphical updates into nearly every version of the UI. I guess if there was a donate button on your site, I'd use it.
Keep up the good work. If I ever get home from work I'll post a screenshot on how your UI looks on 1680x1050, scaled down with your old actionbar background + ractionbarstyler. edit: I'd love to have your ractionbuttonstyler work with ractionbarstyler. If there is no artwork around the buttons the icon overlaps the button skinning, as already mentioned. edit2: would it be possible to exclude target and targetcastbar from spellrange? most of the time I want to see what I target, that's why I click on it ^^

rActionRape
nbuff and dmap are totally pimp with this new border texture, wish the action buttons worked as well, can you please work on the textures for rActionButton? If you need a screenshot of what I mean I can do that but it's like the border isnt getting colored and its colored like the icons you put there. some icons it's not noticeable, others it looks obsurdly silly.
did i mention dmap and nbuffs are really sweet with the new border? |
