Kong Automatic UI Hider can fade out pieces of the user interface (Minimap, PlayerFrame, Recount, etc.) and then automatically show them again when moused-over, entering combat, or any of several other user-specified conditions are met.
Type /Kong in game to access the config GUI. Kong can automatically fade things in and out based on things like:

Multiple Sets
Xentaros,
Would it be possible to have different profiles? Say I want it to act one way when leveling and another in raids or groups? That would rock! Thanks again for the awesome addon. |

All I can say for now is that I would like to add more fade in conditions (e.g. low health/mana) and better support for uniquely behaving addons, so continue to check back here now and then for updates. |

IE, I kong-disable on the SUF player frame, and even though Kong's been told to leave it alone, it causes the SUF player frame to refuse to fade out. On a side note, the only reason this is a problem is because Kong doesn't have a way to show a frame when not-in-combat and less-than-full-mana-or-health conditions are both true. I know it's a complex and arcane bug case that may not be reproducible or fixable, I'm just sayin'. |

Tootem Timers and Kong.
So, Totem Timers, while I can make changes to its fading and all that jazz, does not stay persistent through log outs. I have it set to pop up on hover, but when I log out and back in, kong looses the settings. Any idea what I can do to fix this?

I can't say enough good things about this, I love having a minimalist UI. However, it doesn't play nice with Shadow Unit Frames; it treats the 'combat fader' on the player frame as though the player is always in combat.
I only use the SUF combat fader because it brings the player frame alpha to 1 when health or mana are no longer full. /kong casting doesn't quite cut it, unfortunately. Unregistering the frame doesn't stop the conflict. If there was a /kong notfull command or a workaround for this, it'd be perfect. |

Re: Re: Different Alpha Based on Conditions?
This worked like a charm. The only changes I made were to go to .5 on the alpha (.2 was too light). And I changed this line: /kong macro set [exists] to this /kong macro set [harm] Now the frame only shows when hostiles are targeted This is by far the most versatile add-on to come along in a very long time. Thanks so much and I wish you continued success with your add-on development. |

Re: Different Alpha Based on Conditions?
Authentication servers are down atm but I think that's all you need. Also I noticed the example on the front page for setting condition-specific alpha was wrong. Sorry if that was misleading. |

Different Alpha Based on Conditions?
I seem to be having trouble with the syntax to accomplish the following for an action bar:
1) Frame should be hidden usually 2) Frame should be hidden while in vehicle 3) Frame should be visible at 100% alpha on mouseover 4) Frame should be visible at 100% alpha when in combat 5) Frame should be visible at say 20% alpha while any target is selected Commands applied to frame so far -- /kong hide /kong vehicle hide /kong macro set [exists] Condition 5 above does not work correctly with the above commands. I tried adding the alpha settings to the target macro above but could not get it to work correctly. /kong macro set [exists] alpha in .2 Any help would be appreciated.
