Kong Automatic UI Hider can fade out pieces of the user interface (Minimap, PlayerFrame, Recount, etc.) and then automatically show them again when moused-over, entering combat, or any of several other user-specified conditions are met.
Type /Kong in game to access the config GUI. Kong can automatically fade things in and out based on things like:

Oh hey, here's something: I managed to enter the "1" for the raid member number for the main menu bar when Bartender wasn't running, and I can actually sync it with all my various Bartender bars now that it is, but disabling and then re-enabling all of my addons just to do that one thing is kind of a lot of trouble already. Here's the error it throws when only Bartender and Kong are up: Code:

[[Raid Member: []] exists] and when you attempt to insert a 'Number: User-Entered Number' for the raid member, you get that error? And you are also getting it any time you try to add a macro condition? I ask because so far I haven't been able to reproduce this. Have you been getting it consistently between logins/reloads? And, if its not too much trouble, can you try it after disabling all other addons? I'm glad to hear you are enjoying Kong otherwise |

I'm trying to set this to work properly but it doesn't want to work.
Trying to set a kg panels layer to fade out when no pet is out and fade in when pet is out, tried the macro condition , but doesn't seem to work. what should i do to make it act the way i want it to? Warlock pet if this does matter. |

Hey. I just discovered this, and I just wanted to express how happy I am that someone wrote this addon. I'd been using kgPanels for pretty much exactly the same thing, except it never worked as well and was much harder & more tedious to configure. Kong, once I got past the initial "Why is the whole screen blue??" (turns out WIM did it), was up and running in minutes.
So thank you for keeping this up! I appreciate it. |
