SBF 3.2 Beta  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 3.2.3
by: Satrina, father0fnine

SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

3.2.3
+ When clicking off buffs, the one you meant to dismiss should be dismissed
+ ButtonFacade backgrounds and gloss should be hidden/shown correctly now
- Names still do not show in interactive frames
- Sorting for interactive frames is not yet implemented

3.2.2
Fix two errors on load/zone

3.2.1
Mostly cosmetic fixes
Spell tab should be happy now

Yeah, buff frames don't use the "hide party in a raid" option setting. I could make them do so, though. or at least have an option to make them obey it.

If you wouldn't mind adding it in that would be lovely <3

Hey Satrina, I'd just like to say thank you for the amazing work on this addon, it's by far the best one out there in its genre!

Hey Satrina, small bug with Rogue Weapons;

I took my Daggers off with poisons, put them back off, and the frame ended up tracking my OH Dagger Twice instead of my MH and OH

Yeah, I haven't quite got to fully testing temp enchants with the new changes. Now that I know there's a problem, I'll check it out for sure. Thanks!

Elloria - I have a checkbox to make SBF honour the Hide Party in Raid setting in the WoW options for next release

I'll do a few other tweaks and hopefully get next beta out on Saturday. All things being equal, that may be the last one before release

Beta 9

I added a cooldown sweep to buff icons since it's a surprisingly common request. You can enable it on the Icons tab for each frame. If you have OmniCC (or a similar addon), it will display a timer for the buff automatically. No, there is no way to get rid of it shy of uninstalling the cooldown timer addon. Talk to that addon's author if you want that changed, it's nothing to do with SBF.

Elloria - Play with the flag on Globals for hiding party, please and thank you. I tested it a bunch, but you'll probably hit it in more detail if you plan to use it regularly.

There was a small problem with temp enchants getting updated, caused by a change in the base UI somewhere. Should be fixed up now.

3.1 will do a rough pass at making any needed changes. It won't do a terribly good job of it because some of the changes are fairly fundamental and some settings are new and need to be set for each frame.

Don't change over to this version 5 minutes before you're heading to kill Malygos - leave yourself some time to mess with it because you will need to re set-up some things. Make sure you read the page linked off the download page, it covers the changes between 3.0 and 3.1 for you.

I thought you could define a .noomnicc check if you don't want the addon to interact with your frames.

From the omnicc changelog

•Developers: I now check for .noomnicc on all cooldown frames. If set to true, OmniCC will not show text

Well isn't that cool. I'll stick an option for that into beta 10 then.

/sbf options does not work

Hello.
Updated to 3.1 to see new version. When i type "/sbf options" it only unlocks buff frames, no config menu or window is showing. I tried to clean WTF folder, turn other addons off, etc. but no change. Tried both 9 and 8 versions. No error showing. What do I do?

1 - Make sure you logged out completely when upgrading to 3.1. There are new files in the options menu that will not be loaded if you just copied over and reloaded UI in game and that will cause an error when you open the options.

2 - When the buff frames unlock and the options frame doesn't show, that is 100% because an error happened. Make sure you have Lua error reporting turned on in the game options.

3 - Maybe there's an obscure problem in the 3.0-3.1 saved variables conversion that for something you have set up that nobody has hit yet. Unlikely if you cleaned out WTF since that would kill your 3.0 saved variables, though.

Thanks for answer!
I did not know about LUA error reporting feature. When I turned it on, I got "LibScrollingDropDown-1.0.lua:144: bad argument #1 in 'ipairs' (table expected, got nil)". Hope this helps.

Beta 10

Checkbox is in place to let you suppress OmniCC cooldown timers. If there are any other cooldown addons that have similar functionality, let me know and I'll add them.

I believe I fixed the error you were running into Eveigh
