* Added the ability to define and name five different volume presets.

* Added tooltips for all checkboxes.

-- 3.0.9-1.0.5

* Added text field to LDB object to display the current Master volume level.
* Added current volume levels next to the slider names in the control panel - made the label font smaller to fit this in.
* Added "/vol" slash command to bring up the control panel.
* Minor bugfix and load-time optimizations.

-- 3.0.9-1.0.4

* Added check-box toggles for "Sound in Background", "Loop Music", "Error Speech", and "Emote Sounds".

-- 3.0.8-1.0.3

* Added "/volumizer" SlashCmd - opens the control panel in the center of the screen.

-- 3.0.8-1.0.2

-- 3.0.8-1.0.1

* Added toggle check-boxes for each sound type.
* Removed min/max volume labels, as they were unnecessary.

I'll look into it. At the moment, I'm just using the default Blizzard values.

"include output" could mean "show the option that lets you switch between speakers and headphones".

At least, that's what I want it to mean

I tried a great many things, to no avail. Apparently the 10% change up/down is hardcoded into the client.

This is true, however intermediate values will be accepted (and work), although if you at some point open the Blizzard Volume Settings config, those values will be rounded up or down to the nearest 10%.

Well, it didn't work for me. The amount that the button moved along the slider changed, but the volume itself did not - even the number stayed the same until the button was at a certain point along the slider.

What do you mean by "include output"?
Sorry for the slow reply. By output, I mean to headphones or internal speakers etc. In the wow client on my mac, I've got 3 output options: default, headphones, and built in output. When I raid, I direct the game output to my headphones, so I hear the game and vent. When I'm not raiding, I direct the output to built in speakers. I also have to adjust levels etc.

Here's the line from the config.wtf file. Can't log in atm to screenshot the dropdown option box.
Code:
SET Sound_OutputDriverName "Built-in Output"

I cannot duplicate this, and have no idea why it would be doing so unless another AddOn is interfering with it - namely corrupting StaticPopupDialogs, which is a globally-defined table in the default Blizzard UI.

Because I hate clicking I made some changes to show panel on mouse over, and hide when mouse leave both plugin and panel:
Code:
function DataObj:OnEnter()
	Volumizer:Toggle(self)
end

function DataObj:OnLeave()
	if not MouseIsOver(Volumizer) then
		Volumizer:Toggle(self)
	end
end

Volumizer:SetScript("OnLeave", DataObj.OnLeave)

Yes. The ancient FuBar_VolumeFu (which still works fine in WoW 3.1.3) allowed you to adjust its percentage sliders 1 percentage point at a time. The "in-between 10%" values worked without issue.

I simply do not see this. Example:

Code:
 ref.Volume:SetValue(value)
 print(string.format("Slider value is %.2f - %.2f", value,  ref.Volume:GetValue()))
This produces the following output when moving the slider knob:

[23:11:49] Slider value is 0.25 - 0.20
[23:11:49] Slider value is 0.23 - 0.20
[23:11:49] Slider value is 0.18 - 0.20
[23:11:49] Slider value is 0.16 - 0.20
[23:11:49] Slider value is 0.24 - 0.20
[23:11:49] Slider value is 0.33 - 0.30
[23:11:49] Slider value is 0.34 - 0.30
[23:11:49] Slider value is 0.37 - 0.40
[23:11:49] Slider value is 0.39 - 0.40
[23:11:49] Slider value is 0.43 - 0.40
The first value is what I want to set the volume to (With 1 being 100% volume). The second value is what it is actually set to - SetValue() apparently rounds, making all attempts pointless.

Thank you for the addon, Torhal.

Personally, the mouse-over to see volume panel was driving me mad so I downloaded an older revision of the addon. Some sort of switch between functionality would be awesome. I'm afraid that sometime in the future, you may make an important change to the addon that I will lose out on due to me sticking with an older version. I've fingers crossed that this will not occur, because I find Volumizer to be the best LDB addon addressing volume options.

I'm with Sec on this one. I find myself constantly muting on accident. I also have Volumizer close to some other tooltip hover LDB things that it tends to interfere with if I'm not precise with my mouse. I'd really love to have the option to use it the "old" way.

Agreed!
