    Bang! Anti Spam 2  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

    This addon will remove all kinds of spam before you see it!

    Features: Remove Repeated-Text spam

    * Filter out any text that is spammed more than once (e.g. LF1M GNOMER PST!! x500 in yell or trade)
    * This works in all chat channels and will simply display the offending message once.
    * NEW: MacroStop Feature: Block advertisements for trades or guilds spread over a billion lines.

    Features: Gold Spam

    * Gold spam filtering (you wont see it) and automatic reporting.
    * Customisable level of detail and interaction with user.
    * Any whispers coming from players below the user defined level will be blocked pending verification
    * The low level character must correctly answer a user-defined question to proceed
    * Alternatively all low level whispers can be outright refused, the user will not see any of this occur

    Features: Trade Chat / General Channels

    * Remove advertisements for any or all professions
    * Remove spam for BG premades, account sellers
    * Remove Guild recruitment advertisements in the Trade and General Channels
    * Smart LFG filtering, block LFG/LFM in trade - but not if you join LFG.

    Features: Add Custom Chat Filters / Additional Options

    * Add whatever the annoying word of the week is, that everyone likes to spam in trade - infinite user defined filters!
    * Filter out Emotes not directed at or made by you.
    * Filter out dueling system messages.

    Features: 'Nag' Filters and Autoreply

    * Set up automated responses to common whispers
    * e.g. kan i pls has 10,000 water?
    * e.g. r u tank?

    The ingame menu can be reached with /bas.

    I use Chatter also... and BAS hasn't worked for some time now. It USED to filter out duels/emotes/drunk messages nicely, using the custom filter words to eliminate the "tipsy/drunk/etc." messages. But BAS stopped working a few versions ago, for a while it reported an "unknown chat addon", now it doesn't make that complaint, but neither does it work.

    Forced to choose between Chatter and BAS, I'm gonna go with Chatter. I'll be searching again for an addon that will spare me the emotes/duels/drunk messages.

    OTOH, I still use (and paid for) Bang auto ammo, so far it's working like a champ.

    BAS2 will work with both, but at the moment you will need to use the WIM level filter as the BAS2 level filter will disable in the presence of WIM.
    I am using chatter, chatter has no level filtering but u disable yours anyway!

    I only use this addon, prat, and prat link hover.. Come to find out just before I installed this new update I didn't get it on login but upon entering and Eye of the Storm match. Will try this new one out tomorrow ..

    I couldnt recreate this, however I put in a quick plug which should stop it.

    Nvm, v 3.10.19 will automatically disable the level filter if you are using WIM or Cellular.

    You can accomplish the same thing by manually setting the level filter to '1'.

    thats why i want to block 80's (hence 81 max)
    There is a clearly labelled options tab which has both the level setting and custom message.

    Ive found the settings, the options.lua tweaked
    max = 71,

    new one is
    max = 81,

    thanks ,... i dont see the configurable message that you could optionally send back but I suppose i could locate the .lua file and code it in but it would be nice if we could have a 'level block message' configurable in /sentry panel

    which, i did not see anywhere,...

    The block level feature is already built in, why 81?
