QuestClicks generates a dynamic bar of up to 12 buttons to make your life easier. Originally, this add-on was created in response to the large number of usable quest items introduced in WoLK – the kind where the quest giver would hand you an item and tell you to go somewhere and use it. Throw parachutes to troops, thaw people out with a flamethrower, planting acorns in dead dragons, and the like.
Having to dig through bags to find these items and add them to a bar, only to have to get rid of them after the quest was completed, was a pain. I wrote QuestClicks to create temporary buttons for them to make this easier.
Over the years, the default WoW interface has adopted some of this burden, and now many items like this show up in the quest tracker on-screen. There are still some that don’t, however. In addition, there are a lot of other annoying instances where you pick up an item and need to find it to click on it – recipes, ore nuggets, herb parts, motes, toys, etc.
QuestClicks has optional categories for all of these types of items and more. If you pick up something you can learn or collect, you’ll get a button for it. Click it, learn the recipe, and the button goes away by itself.
You can even add your own items (see the GUI panel in your interface configuration window for details).
Currently, the following categories of items can be enabled to generate buttons automatically:

I like where this is headed. Maybe it'll be an Autobar replacement some day. That addon is so damn bloated now. Used to be simple.

I hover over the icon (the blade in this case), and the tooltip appears right next to it, blocking the other quest items.

Thanks. I'll do some more playing with the location of the tooltip, as well as figure out how to default it.

Herb called Fire Leaf
Its an herb from Borean Tundra in the Geyser fields. It doesn't show up in the questclicks window when you have 5. Not griping.....just thought I would let you know so you can include on next version. Btw, this addon rules. My hotbars used to be so cluttered for The Isle of Quel'Danas dailies. Saves alot of space and aggravation when you used to have to look for the damn quest item in your inventory.

Resetting button
Somehow durring my leveing I have moved my bar to far below where it can't be seen (the icon that says Clicks).
If I /qclicks direction up I can see some of the items, if I go down, left, right... I can not see any items. I have uninstalled and reinstalled.. It doesn't fix the issue. Is there a way to reset my buttons so I can see it again? |

I just installed questclicks today for the first time. It seems like a very cool addon but I am having a bit of trouble. I am a JC and the addon keeps spamming:
/cast Prospecting /use Cobalt Ore I can't get it to stop unless I turn off Trades in the options menu. Well actually it does stop after some time but then starts again if I use another skill such as cooking. The spamming starts and then evetually stops after 15 or 20 times. Any ideas? Could I have something installed it does not like? Thanks, Ilmarya |

Kitheree: /qclicks resetpos will reset the position of the bar to the center of the screen.
Ilmarya: This is a debugging message left in the current version. It is fixed in the next version (which will be uploaded in a day or so) but it can also be corrected by editing the "questclicks.lua" file as described in the post below:

I tried that it only took it to the center of the bottom of my screen, never moved it to where I can click, Same issue, just different spot now.
I even got the message "Questclicks reset to screen center." but it's center bottom, not middle. Anymore Ideas?

I've uploaded v1.11, which should resolve both of these issues. The resetpos command was "broken" and should now work properly, and the debug message should be removed.
Additionally the French translation now includes herb names for milling purposes. |

Hi, i detect few errors in localisation.lua file :
line 64 : ["Keys"] = { "Cl\195\169s" } ---> is better line 231 : ["Reset Position"] = { "r\195\169initialiser position" } ---> grammatical error in french (oops sorry) and 3 followed translatings : ["QuestClicks: Click to Mill/Prospect this item"] = { "QuestClicks: Cliquer pour Broyer/Prospecter cet objet" } ---> in tooltip for milling/prospecting object ["Reset Anchor Position"] = { "r\195\169initialiser la position de l'ancrage" } ---> correct the bug in interface options (in french client) ["Milling"] = { "Mouture" } ---> correct the bug of loading addon (in french client)
