MetaHud - Nuckin Branch is a Heads Up Display Add-on for World of Warcraft 3.0 and above. It is a continuation of the original MetaHud by MetaHawk which was discontinued after Patch 2.4.3.

Although MH-Nuckin is a continuation, it isn't the same. MH-Nuckin is focused on remaining encapsulated as a self sustaining Add-on without requiring other libraries. As thus, its feature set differs from MetaHud's.

As of v30100-8.0, MetaHud - Nuckin Branch no longer includes a cast bar. I suggest using my stand alone cast bar called Circle Cast.

MetaHud - Nuckin Branch Features: (as of v30100-8.0)

  • Curved Verticle Health, Mana, Rage, Energy, and Runic Power bars for Player, Target, and Pets.
  • Target's Target Name and Health Bar.
  • Reskinnable Bar Backgrounds.
  • Death Knight rune support.
  • Movable Death Knight Runes.
  • Skinnable Death Knight Runes.
  • Target Buffs (40) and Target Debuffs (40).
  • Countdown timers on all Target Auras.

- The mana bar for druids (shown in the location of the pet mana bar) when in forms no longer works. And the frame loses its border until you self target.

- Energy still ticks in chunks instead of going up 1 by 1. I was under the impression from watching other people play that this was supposed to be live?

Those are some odd bugs, I will look into them but while i am, what you could do for me is turn off ALL other addons and try to recreate the bugs in an isolated environment

Drathals HUD getting updated as well

Thanks for the update. This HUD was always my favorite Others must love it too because DaHud Drathal is getting updated by BDelacroix. Seeing as how both HUD's are very similar, any chance of collaboration?

Wouldnt have reported them at all if I didnt do that first

Energy/Mana always go up in 'ticks' like it did in BC, instead of one at a time like they're supposed to in WoTLK.

And for the druid mana bar(which was usually shown in the pet bar like I said) it is consistently shown at around 70% full regardless of what my mana actually is while in a form. As for the border disappearing, ive been unable to pinpoint that. But re-aquiring my target/self gets it back.

MetaHud and DHud differ in quite a few areas now because of so much independent development done on one or the other and it would probably be more work to collaborate and merge. Besides I'm releasing almost as often as Omen used to in 2.4.X times, what more could you ask for?

A few posts before you just asked if someone uses Fubar Plugin and such of Meta Hud.

No I have registered an acc on this site to post. ;-) I use the Fubar Plugin of Meta Hud. I think its very useful since I dont want to type the menu command each time i visit the options menu. ;-)

I am still getting a bug where it is not displying my ToT. I norlamy have target of target thru the HUD and not my Unit Frames. But with Meta's ToT not working I am left with x-perls tot and I dont like it. Any news on when this will be functional?

Also there is a bug with my health and my targets health not going down until I switch targets. Anyone else getting this?

I must apologize to you then because I have taken FuBar out of MetaHud, and I don't plan to create a new minimap button. In the mean time, I have created a macro on my machine of simply "/metahud menu".

That is another strange one I have not encountered on either of my WoW machines. I'll look into while I investigate the tick rates.

I just wanted to update again on what I said below, as its a bigger problem then I originally thought.

Because my energy/mana is restoring in 'ticks' still, like explained, it is not showing what I have accurately. I recently downloaded Druid Bar and used it to show my mana/etc, since this feature in metahud was currently broken. Druid bar updates correctly instead of in ticks, and I'm noticing that not only is metahud updating in ticks... but it is a little bit behind!

I confirmed this by casting spells/using attacks in cat before metahud showed me having the required mana/energy. Not fractionally either, its definitely noticeable.

Hope you can track this down!

lol hi Celeras, /waveback. I have an idea, will know more after some beta testing. v5 will be on hold until these critical bugs are worked out. (aka, no 40buff until this is done)
