MetaHud - Nuckin Branch  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v30300-8.5
by: Nuckin [More]

MetaHud - Nuckin Branch is a Heads Up Display Add-on for World of Warcraft 3.0 and above. It is a continuation of the original MetaHud by MetaHawk which was discontinued after Patch 2.4.3.

Although MH-Nuckin is a continuation, it isn't the same. MH-Nuckin is focused on remaining encapsulated as a self sustaining Add-on without requiring other libraries. As thus, its feature set differs from MetaHud's.

As of v30100-8.0, MetaHud - Nuckin Branch no longer includes a cast bar. I suggest using my stand alone cast bar called Circle Cast.

MetaHud - Nuckin Branch Features: (as of v30100-8.0)

  • Curved Verticle Health, Mana, Rage, Energy, and Runic Power bars for Player, Target, and Pets.
  • Target's Target Name and Health Bar.
  • Reskinnable Bar Backgrounds.
  • Death Knight rune support.
  • Movable Death Knight Runes.
  • Skinnable Death Knight Runes.
  • Target Buffs (40) and Target Debuffs (40).
  • Countdown timers on all Target Auras.
  • Movable and Resizable Target Auras.
  • Target range indicator.
  • Target guild display.
  • Resting, PvP, Combat, Leader, and Looter icons.
  • Text based Threat Meter.
  • Unique HUD texture that are exclusive to MetaHud - Nuckin Branch.
  • In Game graphical configuration tool to make MetaHud look and feel how you want.
  • Savable Profiles per Warcraft Account.

Are you talking about the blizzard portrait?

There is no option because they go where the combo points go. Sorry.

If you read that quote that you posted, your solution is in there. MetaHud is a passive addon in which it gathers data, and creates its own frame replacements for blizzard ones. I have read the X-Perl code and x-perl is a hijacking addon, which in interest of saving code and being lean, is nice, but when it comes to playing well with other addon functionality, it becomes a problem.

If the runes are enabled in X-Perl but not showing the problem is pretty simple. I had this happen to me. You are using another addon that is disabling the default blizzard run control or something involving disabling the default UI. If another addon is blocking you from being able to see the default rune/player interface -perl will simply show a blank bar with no runes in it. The fix is to make sure that none of your other addons are disabling any of the default blizzard UI components and to let X-perl be the one that is enabling/disabling blizzard UI components. Just go through and uncheck any options in other addons that hide the default UI. For me the actual addon causing the problem was IceHUD, but there are alot of addons that can potentially do this.

First, thanks for picking up this awesome addon. Love it.

Something that I've noticed is that the bar always thinks that I am regenerating health when on my death knight. It never goes away. Is this a bug or intended functionality?

Re: Error in gratuity lib

penfold5: please disable your other addons except Swatter (or whichever bug catcher you're using)

BJRubino: that sounds like a Blizzard UI problem, or XBar, MetaHud does not touch the achievements UI. The problem may be an inheritance issue within the blizz API, i would submit a blizz bug report if it isnt XBar. I will try to recreate the problem when i have some time
