Intro

A Diablo themed oUF layout for oUF 1.6.4+. This layout is part of the Roth UI compilation.
CLASS BAR PREVIEW
ORB CONFIG
To open the orb config panel type in:

/diablo config

Moving
Bars, art and units can now be moved and locked ingame. Use the slash command "/diablo" for more and check the FAQ.
Config
You can change tons of options inside the config.lua. You can change colors, positions, scales. Enable/disable units, bars and so on.

Changing orb text

Hi, love this addon! I wondered about three things. First, can you add permanently a base line value, and a center point value, so that all we have to do to move the interface up or to the sides, is to edit two single values?

Second, can you add the option to hide all the extra stuff except the orbs, artbar, and demon/angel? I refer to all the extra that comes on screen when targeting somebody, or you are in party. I use PitBull for handling units, because it is very easy to edit and move around.

Third, can you please explain how I can make first line in the health orb read the word "Health", and the second line shows "(Health)/(Healthpercent)%", and the mana orb to read i.e. "Energy" (since I am rogue is this natural for me), and second line shows "(Mana)/(Manapercent)%"?

One and two is really not important, it's just to avoid the tedious work of having to edit all this again when this addon updates. The third question however, is one I really would like help on... :P

Repeated requests...

This is not to offend... I discovered that one or more of the "requests" I had were covered repeatedly prior to my asking... and so it continues with others.

Take some time to read back through the posts and posted documentation.

This is a very cool way to immerse yourself into learning some lua!

Make a master backup of what you have working... Hack away... cut and paste... trail end error... or gasp... get some documentation on wow/lua. Yes, google up some documentation on what the code commands actually do. Not that it is easy to look at a list of commands and then see how an author has written his code but slowly I am starting to understand what is going on.

I am currently wondering if there is some sort of detection for the WOW vehicle control panel or if mounted on a quest mount. I like the way the demon and angel are higher in the strata like when I use cartographer the orbs are covered but demon and angel are not. This might be as simple as changing the strata... but then they probably get covered by the map.. no big deal just visually cool.

Real quick I found wiki very useful:

FrameStrata is a string which can take following values:
"PARENT"
"BACKGROUND"
"LOW"
"MEDIUM"
"HIGH"
"DIALOG"
"FULLSCREEN"
"FULLSCREEN_DIALOG"
"TOOLTIP"

These stratas are given in order from lowest to highest; except for "PARENT". Value "PARENT" is relative and indicates that you want to put your frame into the same strata as your frame's parent.

You can see I commented out the original strata of TOOLTIP and put in MEDIUM.

Now, when I am on a quest mount... the D3Orb artwork does not cover up the controls. (decided any other method just not worth my time right now)

In less than 30 min I was able to fix my own problem and share the information. All with some simple reading.

Now roll up your own sleeves and dig in!

PowerBarColor = ClassColors?

Is there a quick way to set up the PowerBars to use class colors? I'd like to keep the HealthBars using the normal colors and have powerbars show up as class colors for all unit frames. Even if someone could just point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated. TIA.

Bug?

Hi.

I tried to comment out the "Spawn"-lines to hide the target & party frames.
But afterwards the whole unitframe seems to be bugged.
Even if I comment out just a single line like the target-spawn-command it seems to crash.

Could you please check this out?

- LUA errors are activated
- the whole castbar part is commented out ( --[[ ... ]]... )
- every "Spawn" but "oUF:Spawn("player", ...)" is commented out

Result:
Both orbs are appearing but not the "d3_bar".

If I undo all changes the bar appears without problems.

Wait, I figured it out:
I commented out the "local party = oUF:Spawn(...)" line, too, but it seems that I have to comment out the whole "toggle party in raid" part...

Ok, now it works.

Look at my questions underneath:
- comment out the whole "CASTBAR" part
- comment out everything but the "oUF:Spawn("player, ...)" line at the "SPAWN UNITS and POSITION THEM" part
- comment out the whole "SPAWN PARTY and POSITION IT" & "TOGGLE PARTY IN RAID" part

Found a issue when you're operating a veridicle, the castbar when you're using it is using the default blizz castbar instead of this one. Maybe set it to your castbar or set a custom one?
