Caith UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: Classic
by: Caith [More]

Welcome to my custom user interface.
I use an ultrawidescreen monitor with a 3440x1440 resolution.

You can use a different resolution. Just resize and move frames and backgrounds.

Video showcase and tutorials

Installation

Backup your interface + WTF folders!

Extract the zip file, you will find three folders: Interface, WTF, Fonts

- go to path: WTF -> Accounts
- change
ACCOUNTNAME to your own accountname in caps
- go inside the your accountname folder, and change
Living Flame to your Server
- go inside your server folder and change
Caith to the name of your toon
- Then you copy my WTF, Fonts and Interface folder into your wow directory. Replace all files.
- Enter the game type
/reflux switch CaithHC3 to load all the ingame profiles. Care, the command is case sensitive.

I use a couple of addons to modify my UI

Unitframes: PitBull, WeakAuras
Buttons: Dominos, OmniCC, WeakAuras, Masque
Combat: Details, CFCT, LoseControl, MSBT
Nameplates: Plater Nameplates
Map: Leatrix, BasicMinimap
Chat: Prat
Other: Leatrix Plus, Reflux, MoveAnything, !BugGrabber, AdiBag, TacoTip, Darkmode, Questie, ShamanBlue, wowsimsexporter

Thanks a lot to the addon authors. We couldn't create such awesome interfaces without your addons!

!!! I will always provide my UI for free !!!

I would simply like to know how you filter the buffs on the raid frames to be... yours only.. and of course what did you do with your chatlog after you have used omen in a raid? Did you just reload profiles??

Hey, thanks pal!
It's not going to look like that because it's two different versions of the UI. If you want it like that, download that one and update all the addons. I did it, it wasn't too hard.

Filtering buffs are done by filtering debuffs through pitbull or using dogtags to show when your buffs are missing.

Inside the UI on the bellum forums there is a macro to resize that chatbox to make room for omen.

I've been running Caithlyn's UI for a long time now with some extra things I add myself, I totally love the UI.

I just have one question though, out of curiousity. How do you make the black "border" in the Classtimer? I've tried configing it but only end with a resault of a full colored bar.

Thanks in advance.

Help!

I followed all the directions, renaming my folders, etc, and it ends up looking like a jumbled up mess in the middle of my screen! I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Here is a screenshot of what it looks like: http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/6013/...0809012105.jpg

I am running a 1280x800 resolution, and am using the 16:10 version of CaithUI. It should work just fine.

Can somebody please help me out here?

I just downloaded the UI, and everything is working beautifully except two things (which as a healer, are important to me)

The range check isn't working. Ive gone into pitbull and enabled it, but its not working still.

Also, self cast isn't working. Ive gone under both pitbull and the wow options, but nothing still.

This is a minor problem, but in addition, the tracking button for my map doesnt work.

(copied from the other Caith UI)

Heya Caith, erm. I love the looks of your UI, and first after 3.1 I downloaded ur UI, but I found out a problem. I do all the basic stuff (WTF -> Account name etc). I log on, and I find that I have the ¨vanilla¨ UI , I'm bit like wtf, i log out and check that I have all addons on, I do but they're out of date. So I click the button, and hop back in. Well, some addons pop up, but as reseted version. I tryed again today, same thing.
Im using 1440&900, but It should not matter I think. Anyway, thanks if you can help me with this. ^^

How are you able to make it so that for your targets health you have his % in the actual health bar. and his actual number health seperate below it. I've been able to have it show both but only together.

Is that a option in pitbull3 i've missed? or did you use another addon to achive that.
It's PitBull4, not 3. Although I believe you can do it in PB3 too - just make another "text" and place it where you want it. You'll likely have to play a little with DogTags.

I have the exact same problem. Something in this compilation is suppressing the blizzard damage numbers, and I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. which sucks cause I really want to use it
