FAQ
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.

Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons do not automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars (except for Bar 1), you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!

Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.

Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

I have the same problem, I have tried with ONLY Bartender installed. It's like they do lock .. but when you press them fast enough they unlock.

Have checked to see if I have them locked in BT4, as well as in the blizzard interface. Still to no avail.

I doubt it has anything to do with Bartender. Again, it does not touch your spells on bars at all. Look at your other addons, if you have something like talent keeper or whatever.

Feral spells that are placed on my cat-form bar on my off spec disappear when a new rank is trained when I'm in main spec. Only the spells/abilities that have a new rank are removed, everything else stays. For example, let's say I'm in my restoration spec, and head to a trainer, and train a new rank of the catform ability, Shred. When I hop into my feral off spec, and change to cat form, that ability has been removed from the cat form bar, due to me training a new rank. Spells that are on a normal action bar are unchanged, and have to be manually updated with the new rank of spell once in that spec.

JohnnyGrey A Deviate Faerie Dragon Forum posts: 13 File comments: 2 Uploads: 0	The reason you are getting linked bars when using shapeshifted forms is because by default, 3 or 4 of the action bars you have access to via this addon are permanently hidden by the default UI, and even more, most classes will never have the chance to even see them. When you shapeshift with the Blizzard UI, the main action bar is actually being swapped out with bar number 7, 8, 9, or 10. No problem is ever encountered. Because Bartender allows us to use those additional bars, you will encounter a problem. A normal 10th action bar to a no-stance class is just another action bar, and you may not realize that you are actually using a druid's bearform bar, or cat, or treeform. The only way I know of to avoid this is to disable the last few bars for that specific character, whether it be a warrior, shadow priest, or a druid.

It may not invent new bars but it does populate them with buttons.

It doesn't do that all by itself. If there's any spell buttons appear anywhere, it's either you placed them there, wow itself or some other addon.

I have changed nothing other then adding the bars to my UI.

Then look in addon options, the Paging settings.
To avoid misconfiguration and environment binding, I recommend disabling addon (all addons) once, load pure WoW, place some buttons on relevant bars in each stance to easily distinguish them and load back your all-full configuration.
Then you can check if you have correct paging set in addon, and work out from there to the farther bounds of your imagination.

Right now I am playing a druid and I just got my bear form.

When I change into bear form, bar 1 and 9 seem to be linked some how.
When I got bear for bar 9 had the abilities in it already, then when I changed into bear for bar 1 had the abilities as well.

If I remove the buttons from either bar the buttons remove themselves from the other bar.

If you want multibar layout, your safest bet is to use bars 1/3/4/5/6, and enable their display in WoW configuration, to avoid accidental scrolling to them.
And BTW, if you haven't changed anything yourself, bear bar should have been bar7 (stance:1).
