FAQ
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.

Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons do not automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars (except for Bar 1), you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!

Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.

Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Hey, I've been having issues with my keybinds since I updated them yesterday... The keybinds are outside of the action bars and its driving me nuts. Is there a quick fix for this?

Thank you for getting this fixed for 4.0.1. I'm sure this has been asked before but is there any fix for the "zoom" function? Also some bars that I've set up that have no icons in them won't allow me to click-through them to the game world.

@Nevcairiel, a serious bug: "Click-through" option now making bars totally unclickable including any spells/items put on them.

For the present I think I'm just gonna have to do it the hard way to be back in the swing of things before Cata actually comes out.
Just so you know, if you login first time, immediately spend talents and relogin, the most of spells will come back to the bars. The items and macros, however, is an exception.

Copying One Spec to Another?

Howdy Folks!

I am in the laborious process of getting ten 80s back to "normal" after the big 4.0.1 patch. When I log in to a character for the first time, their action bars are more or less the way they were pre-patch, but of course a number of action buttons are blank (either because they were macros, or because the ability they used to have has been changed or gotten rid of).

I respend their primary talent points, and then take 10-15 minutes or so repopulating their action bars (6 pages of 12 buttons each = 72 buttons). Here is where I finally get to my question.

Once that is done, I then respend their secondary talent points, and switch to the secondary spec. This resets their bars to the same initial default as when I log in for the first time, and so I have to manually write down where each of the 72 buttons are placed on the primary spec so I can match it up on the secondary spec before making the few (usually only half dozen or so) adjustments that exist between specs.

Obviously this is extremely tedious. I'm just curious if there is any way to copy a Bartender setup from a primary spec to a secondary spec? Even if I have to somehow edit the saved variables file?

If not I'll just suck it up and keep plowing through - but I thought I'd check before I get too far in (currently on the third of ten).

Thanks!

This is indeed due to ActionBar Paging (Under Bar 1 -> State Configuration) being disabled by default. I just turned it on and now shift+1,2,3,4,5,etc works like a charm.

Thanks!

I especially don't trust you in case of Bartender, as it literally does nothing.
I will test with disembedded libraries tonight but if others addons give me same functions and options with a 0 impact performance (no use of libraries or lesser use of this) I cannot recommend this addon, I was more of one year using these mods and for his fault I have lost quality and playing time, this way that the worse thing that the people can do to be to put on these addons

This is because libraries...? I dont think this. This is for bad code and no exists other cause.
