Cellular is an instant messenger mod (for only whispers) based on the functionality of an old version of ForgottenChat.

How to Use:

"/cellular", check Interface Options->AddOns, or right-click a window for options
Left-click a window to toggle the editbox
Left-click a tab to activate it
Shift-left-click and drag a window to move
Shift-left-click and drag bottom-right corner to resize
Right-click a tab for show/close/options dropdown
Middle-click a tab to close
Hold ctrl and close any window/tab to quick remove from history
Several convenient buttons (some require shift clicking for confirmation reasons)

Warnings:

If you have history enabled and notice that Cellular is using a lot of memory, you should cleanup your history entries using Cellular's history options.
If you're experiencing crashing due to memory errors, disable and clear your history.
If you cherish your history, you can back up the saved variables file and then delete it. You can view it in any text editor later. The location of the saved variables file is here:
...\WTF\Account\<Account Name>\<Server Name>\<Character Name>\SavedVariables\Cellular.lua

Alright thank you.

That still however doesn't explain why Cellular is now supressing other addons which should allow clickable links. That's my problem. I've no issues with it not being a feature, I'm just trying to figure out why the mods I am trying which do allow it aren't working when they once did.

That said I think I've found a bug or something similar. Well, maybe not a bug, but something is off. A few months ago Cellular would recognize links in whispers and allow me to click and copy them without using the copy text feature. One day it simply stopped working. Now I'm wondering if that was ever a feature of Cellular or if I was using something which overwrote it? That said I've tried downloading another, seperate addon for link copying but it did not work for whispers with Celluar enabled. It seems as though something is surpresing it. Also I'll mention that even without a seperat addon I can copy links out of every other channel, just not whispers. I've tried a couple different chat mods but still no luck. Simply put I'd like to know if there is a way for me to enable this with Cellular? Thank you! __________________

Fast delete of text? Don't think that has ever been there, unless you mean fast delete from history. See instructions on description page for that.

I like how you can use the Cellular windows to open their own editbox if you just want to focus on certain whispers (so thank you for that functionality, it's great for cy... err... in-depth tactical discussons).

Although as also mentioned by Jesamynm, it's getting very inconvenient when your editbox (that's supposed to go to /ra or whatever) suddenly sticks to a whisper window, very much appreciate the quick fix of your excellent addon!

Edit: caught a spelling error or two. You may keep the remaining ones

Cellular should no longer handle GM whispers in the latest release; I don't want to have to deal with blocking an entire Blizzard addon. Twelve hour format is already there for recent whispers. The history entries are still 24.

Not 100% sure what's causing that, but check out the latest version. I might have fixed it.
