Cellular is an instant messenger mod (for only whispers) based on the functionality of an old version of ForgottenChat.

How to Use:

"/cellular", check Interface Options->AddOns, or right-click a window for options
Left-click a window to toggle the editbox
Left-click a tab to activate it
Shift-left-click and drag a window to move
Shift-left-click and drag bottom-right corner to resize
Right-click a tab for show/close/options dropdown
Middle-click a tab to close
Hold ctrl and close any window/tab to quick remove from history
Several convenient buttons (some require shift clicking for confirmation reasons)

Warnings:

If you have history enabled and notice that Cellular is using a lot of memory, you should cleanup your history entries using Cellular's history options.
If you're experiencing crashing due to memory errors, disable and clear your history.
If you cherish your history, you can back up the saved variables file and then delete it. You can view it in any text editor later. The location of the saved variables file is here:
...\WTF\Account\<Account Name>\<Server Name>\<Character Name>\SavedVariables\Cellular.lua

Amandajg A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 2 Uploads: 0	I have been getting an error. When I recieve a 4th whisper I can not read it or open and of the other tabs either. I have to relog to be able to see the message as they are archived. I have been using Vellular for over a year I thik now I would hate to have to replace it . There is nothing out that I like nearly as much.

Even if think they are no chat related mods running, many mods do use the filter system to block certain messages. I'll be ignoring all bug reports unless the bug persists when no other mods are running.

Same Error here iam unable to click the Tabs any longer. gsub error. Only Reload UI and Closing Cellular is working then.

I've added a check in the latest version of Cellular to ignore mishandled filters. However, your mods are still not 3.1 ready and may cause bugs elsewhere.

I have had this problem since I first got Cellular. Is this a known bug, or am I having a problem with my other addons? Thanks By the way, Cellular is by far the best Mod of this type, thanks for your hard work.

Auto-minimize does not minimize already opened windows. It will only minimize a new window, so the window does not suddenly popup in your face while you fight.

Research LibSharedMedia or SharedMedia. Also, there's an option to change the background color for Cellular.

Actually I'm not. That was from the version you just updated what...a day or so ago? I've had to go back 3 versions to get something that works AFTER deleting the old saved var's out of the wtf folder. =P Thanks for the quick response though. And yes, my other mods have been updated.

In your error report, it shows you're using "Cellular-3.1.001". Current version is 3.1.002.

I realize that. Its the exact same error code. As I said in my previous post, I've had to go back two versions (to3.0.014) to get something that doesn't throw errors in raid. Thanks for the prompt reply again.

The 3.0.014 version will occasionally throw the same error, but i can close cellular and do a reloadui to clear it. The two more current versions will not. I'll see if I can pin down more precisely when it triggers since i raid again this evening.
