Cellular is an instant messenger mod (for only whispers) based on the functionality of an old version of ForgottenChat.

How to Use:

"/cellular", check Interface Options->AddOns, or right-click a window for options
Left-click a window to toggle the editbox
Left-click a tab to activate it
Shift-left-click and drag a window to move
Shift-left-click and drag bottom-right corner to resize
Right-click a tab for show/close/options dropdown
Middle-click a tab to close
Hold ctrl and close any window/tab to quick remove from history
Several convenient buttons (some require shift clicking for confirmation reasons)

Warnings:

If you have history enabled and notice that Cellular is using a lot of memory, you should cleanup your history entries using Cellular's history options.
If you're experiencing crashing due to memory errors, disable and clear your history.
If you cherish your history, you can back up the saved variables file and then delete it. You can view it in any text editor later. The location of the saved variables file is here:
...\WTF\Account\<Account Name>\<Server Name>\<Character Name>\SavedVariables\Cellular.lua

I'm having the same problem too. I went in and disabled notes you need and it seemed to work.

until I logged off that character and logged onto another one on the same server. R to reply doesn't work and am having to hit return. The only way R will work is if i close the cellular window each time.

Edit: I loaded it up on the PTR by itself. No errors. Almost 100% functional still, except 1 thing: Clicking on the frame doesn't open the chat edit box to whisper the selected person like it does on live. Not really a big deal at all. I didn't have a chance to test whether the B.net features work however.

I already got a working copy for 3.3.5. I got battle.net real ID whispers and the chat edit box working.

Yes, but it's out of the scope of Cellular since it uses the edit box from Blizz's chat windows. I'm sure a mod like Prat or Chatter can alter the default edit box.

Trying hard not to be bitter, but you're basically asking me to help you make my mod good enough for you. I'm in your shoes when it comes to mods; however, if you're going to be picky, learn how to make changes on your own.

The screenshot helped. Uncheck "Disable EditBox Move".

My whisper-windows spawn on the right side of my screen in tabs (really like this) .. but my friend said, when someone whispered me, I should be able to push 'r' and answering in the Cellular-whisper frame ..
