About
oUF_Nivaya is a unitframe addon with low memory and cpu usage. It is based on oUF by Haste, but still it offers the possibility to configure a large variety of settings ingame to adapt functionality and appearance.

So in order to use it you need the oUF core! If there happen to be any bugs or errors, feel free to report them here. However, before reporting bugs make sure you definitly have the latest release of both this layout and oUF!

Ingame Config
This Layout comes with an ingame configuration dialog, which is included as load-on-demand module accessible via "/ouf". You can change settings like frame positions and sizes, portrait settings, use of custom textures and fonts (using SharedMedia), buff / debuff position and size and alot more. Also you can toggle all my custom features and adjust settings concerning the Healer Mode.

Positioning: "Unlocking" the frames enables you to freely move the Player Frame, the Party Frame and the Raid Frames via mouse dragging. All other units stay anchored to those, however all the relative positions can be changed in the options too. By default, the target frame is automatically positioned symmetrically to the player frame as you move it. You can unlock the frames in the settings dialog or by typing "/ouf lock" or "/ouf unlock" (they both toggle).

Of course, if you don't change any source codes, you can update the layout without losing your own settings. More over this, it doesn't use significantly more memory or cpu time than other oUF layouts (currently it's about 90kb, excluding the config module).

Supported Frames
  • Player, Target and Pet
  • Target of Target and Focus
  • Target of Target of Target and Focus Target (both optional)
  • Party and Raid (also optional, both "Grid"-like, party including player, raid up to 40 players)

The "Healer Mode"
There are two different modes for Party-/Raidframes display. The first is a very minimalistic "grid-like" setup, containing no numbers at all. The second one has slightly larger frames and contains more information like health and deficit values. This one is supposed to be used by healers, but of course you can choose the one you prefer. Both setups are shown in the screenshots.

Also, in case you want to use both setups with different characters, I have included an option that makes the layout automatically pick the healer mode based on your character class. You can adjust this behaviour in the configuration dialog ("/ouf"). More over this, the layout is able to remember different positions and raidframe settings for both modes.

More Features
  • Castbar support for player, target, target of target and focus (can be disabled)
  • Built-in aggro coloring
  • Built-in heal prediction
  • Fancy debuff highlighting (A debuff filter is enabled by default, so you will only see highlighting for debuffs you can cure).
  • Options to automatically color health- and/or manabars by class or mobtype.
  • Adjustable colors, textures, fonts, positions and sizes for most frames and elements.

Supported oUF Modules
  • oUF_PowerSpark
  • oUF_Smooth
  • oUF_TotemBar
  • oUF_Experience
  • oUF_Reputation
  • oUF_GCD (Make sure to set a reference spell as described here, otherwise it won't work. I can't do that for you since those spell names are localized.)

FAQ
Here I'll answer all those questions which become a little bit annoying when I have to answer them a gazillion times in the comments.

Q: "I want my raid groups to grow from left to right instead of right to left / from top to bottom instead of bottom to top."
A: Open the config module and go to the raidframes page. There you'll find an option called "Spacing between raidgroups". For this value, positive values make the raidgroups grow from left to right (bottom to top), negative values make them grow from right to left (top to bottom).

Q: "I have a SharedMedia Addon with additional fonts/textures/whatever and I can't pick them from your config or they are not saved on relog/reloadui."
A: The problem here is, that these addons must be loaded before the layout, or else their stuff won't be recognized. This is usually achieved by adding the addon in question to the OptionalDeps in the .toc files of the layout and its config module. You can do that yourself or if you want it to be permanently added, tell me.

Q: "I'd like to edit the text tags on my unit frames (health, mana, etc)."
A: Currently you cannot change them ingame, but there are tag functions for HP, power, names, levels, classification and status information. You can find them in "tags.lua".

Q: "Can you add buff/debuff/hot/dot indicators to the raidframes?"
A: Very unlikely.

Q: "Can you add [insert random big feature]? I miss it from Pitbull/Grid."
A: My layout is not meant to be a replacement for Pitbull or Grid. It is meant to be lightweight without denying you the possibility to adjust the basic appearance and functionality. I am currently very satisfied with the features and I probably won't add more biggies. However, as long as I play WoW, I will keep it updated and working. Of course, you may always ask for easy-to-add improvements. But I really don't have much time currently, so you should prepare to wait a little bit before it will be done.

2. Is it possible to add indicators for lootmaster and party/raid leader in the raidframe?

2.a. Oh, and some kind of ready check?

3. And is it possible to add an res-indicator in the healing mode of the raidframe?

4. Whats about a way to add indicators for HOTs and (own) buffs?

5. There is a range check in the raid frame, is it possible to add this to target frame? (this fading grey stuff)

6. About the buffs shown on Target: Is there a way to "highlight" my own buffs/debuffs on a target? Make them bigger than the rest, a coloured border or (the best way I think) make all the buffs/debuffs grey, except of my own which are coloured.

7. And a last issue, I think I'm just too blind to see it: On the target frame I can always see either buffs or debuffs. I set the buffs to top-left and debuffs to bottom-right without the tick on "combine". But on friendly units I see only buffs in top-left and no debuffs, nor on top or bottom, and on hostile units I see only debuffs on top-left but no buffs. Where is my mistake?

8. Did I tell you already, that this is the best UF out there?

I will try to make all changes by myself, but I even don't know in which file xD Hope you can help.
lol it sounds to me like you should just add Grid and related plugins and just disable the ouf layout raidframes. I believe the point of ouf is to have simple/minimal unitframes that don't bog down your computer, but I'm not the author - this is just my opinion

Maybe I should have downloaded oUF directly from GitHub before posting here
It works now and for some reason the oUF here on WoWInterface does not work for me.

Make sure to update to oUF 1.4, any older version won't work with this layout anymore!

Hello. I have a problem.
I have used this layout before (maybe 1-2 months ago).
And now I wanted to install it again, but when I log ingame the unitframes do not change. Only the config menu is "working".
I have deleted every file in the WTF folder that includes "ouf" in it, I deleted the Cache folder and still the unit frames do not change. Re-downloaded OUF and this layout multiple times.

Minor question

First of all, great layout, really like the style it uses. Well done on that part.

I've got a minor question though, I've checked the lua found the PostUpdateHealth function where there's a mentioning towards raid, don't know whether it's groups though, so here's the question:

Is it possible to change the raid groups so list groups 1-5 instead of 1-? Is it just the change from 1,8 to 1,5 in the sub?

I basically only raid 25 or 10 man and never need more people to show in my raid frame.
However we have our rotations in the other groups, meaning they would show up on my screen all the time, which I don't want.

Thank you in advance.

As a DK, if you enter a vehicle the runes go up to the default blizz frame location and never return unless you do a /reload ui or zone.

So far I'm liking this UI, but I have 2 problems:

1. I want to set the mana colour to it's original colour of blue. I am able to set the health to class colour and there is a custom colour button as well but it only changes the health colour. The mana colour is green if it's not set at class colour. How can I make it blue?

2. When I'm in a 5 man I want to have similar unit frames as those to my target and my frame. Not grid like. Anyway to do this?

Is there a way to incude aura watch (even if we have to manually configure it) in your layout ?

Same question for Raiddebuffs.

And ty for the work.

PS: i'm a noob in .lua

First of all, thanks for the great layout - I really like it and am planning on using this one for a long time.

I am having a few problems though: the most important being my party frames up and disappeared on me when I was trying to edit their size via the options menu. I changed the distance between frames and they vanished - even if I change it back to the original number and hit okay they dont come back, nor does a UI reload or exiting and reopening the game bring them back. Any idea as to how to get them back?

A few other questions: I love the grid-like raid frames, but for a party theyre a bit too small for me. It seems like you cant edit the party and raid frames independently, yet for some reason my raid frames are twice as large as my party frames after editing the size in the options menu, but the party frames remain unchanged (oddly enough only the 3rd party members frame is larger). I would love my party frames to be the same size as 'focus' or 'ToT' frames but I cant seem to get them to do that. The grid frames are perfect for raid, though.

My last question is, is it possible to filter buffs/debuffs to my class? For instance, on my target - I dont need to see every buff and debuff that they have - only ones that Ive put on - so if theres a mage in my group and I target them (im a paladin) Id like to only see my aura, BoK, SS, forbearance, etc. Otherwise its just way too cluttered and I cant even tell whats what. Is this possible? (Pitbull used to do this for me on my party frames, but took up wayyy to much memory)

Thank you again for the great addon, I would love to continue using it and will do so if I can at least get my party and raid frames to show up on my screen again, the other stuff would be beneficial, but isnt totally necessary.
