Diablo 3 dynamic Orbs  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

BEWARE: If you are updating from version 1.1 or lower to 1.2 or higher, you HAVE to delete the old folders! (Diablo3Orbs, Diablo3HealthFrame, rFader, rTextures)

Hawt Stuff:
- should support death knights and runic power as of 1.21b. No rune display yet, I recommend RuneMover until then.



These are the Diablo 3 Orbs, taken from Roth UI v080722, with some changes.
The original mod is available here: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9175
Try it!


-Strata of frames changed to prevent UI elements getting hidden behind.
-The texture d3_bar4.tga is used instead of the original one for easier placement of action bars.
-Widened the space between the orbs.
-Optional angel/demon frame, widened the bottom bar.
-The power orb will now change color according to druid forms, or the player being a warrior/rogue. No more blue energy orbs for rogues (and warriors and stuff)!

You will need an action bar addon like bartender/bongos/dominos to actually place action buttons on top of the bar frame.

-Type "/dynorbs" to access the options
-Right now, you can toggle both the additional art on the sides and the main bar.

Thanks for the input, and thanks for the time you took to post it here.

I was able to replicate the problem on a fresh install of the addon without saved variables.

Seems like I forgot to initialize the table properly. Should be fixed now, I couldn't get the bug to trigger again.

Great addon, if it had; a way to move the entire frame and lock/unlock frame and scale it I would be a seriously happy camper.

just had an idea, have the same addon/frame but upside down and at the top of the screen for target, and inside targetoftarget, and focus or such (add with another unitframe mod) would need to invert the art, and change to target instead of player. think that would look cool atleast. can grab another mod to get a portray round there somewhere suiting. cheers for a awsome mod

edit: i retaught this and would be easyer to discribe as ability to have 2 of the mods running at same time, rest is just positioning all frames, and flip the textures in some grafic editor.

Thanks for trying it on beta.

I'll have to see how I can get runic power to display in a useful way.. as soon as I can get my hands on a deathknight
But that will probably mean the release of wrath.

Won't do that, for those reasons:

It's impractical.
Most gamers I know prefer to not have to scan the whole screen to get all vital information, it slows reaction time.

It's not how it was meant to be.
Come on. These are Diablo3 Orbs! Does Diablo3 have Orbs to display health and mana of enemies?

This is an graphic mod.
I don't want to include party, pet, target frames. This is not a unit frame mod.


If you'd really, really like to have your target display adorned with orbs, check out the new Roth UI. This time, he did the target and party frames as orbs, using oUF.

The minimap at screen topright have a beautiful textures.
But this guys use the eePanels2 to actualize it.
he link the art textures to minimap by eePanels2.
please , if I dont use the eePanels2 ,how can I do that ?

That screenshot definitely displays Roth UI.

It's version 080722. All textures are in the folder rTextures.
If you want to use them, you should either use eepanels2 or kgPanels.
The hard way would be to learn lua.

tbh i didnt think 2 much about it, i was browsing ui screenshots when i saw a bottom middle top middle layout for player and target, but u just may be right, additionally if id really want to id could prob figure out how to duplicate the addon and rename it , and flip textures myself so it could run along side with this one. Nyway cheers for the addon!

Doesn't show current Runic Power in the right orb when playing a Death Knight. Instead it stays at 0/100.
