Kith's UI (Elv UI)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 6.0
by: Kithicor [More]

Recommended Resolution: 1920x1080
Recommended Players: Raiding DPS/Heals

-------------------------------------------
ABOUT THE UI

Kith's UI is a High Performance raid UI, utilizing aesthetic components as well as perceptibility. Although developed for the Hunter Class, Kith's UI can be adapted to any class, though primarily Healer classes and Utility DPS.

With UI elements toward the bottom and center of the screen, Kith's UI provides a "one-stop-shop" kind of feel, having everything in one spot, so attention isn't thrown around, causing a delay in reaction.

--------------------------------------------

DISCLAIMER OF SUPPORT

I do not provide support for this UI package, or for the addons contained within it. It is your responsibility to keep the addons up-to-date (I use MMOUI Minion). If you have any questions about the operation of any addon within this pack, it is your responsibility to find the addon author(s) and seek support from them.

THIS UI PACK WAS CREATED TO SUPPORT 1650x1080 SCREEN RESOLUTION. Any other resolution can work, but you'll need to move various addons around (particularly Bartender, KGPanels and Omen).

--------------------------------------------

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Unpack the archive and rename folders

The archive contains three folders, all relative to your World of Warcraft installation folder. The "Fonts" folder should replace your existing Fonts folder. Same thing for the "Interface" folder. Note: The Interface folder contains many sub-folders. You need all of them. Finally, the "WTF" folder. Within this folder, under the Account folder, you'll see a folder called "ACCOUNTNAME". Rename this to your account name. Under that folder is a "SERVERNAME" folder, and under that a "CHARACTERNAME" folder. Rename those to match your server and character. If you've ever used another UI pack, this should be familiar to you.

--------------------------------------------

STEP 2: Log in to the game and setup addons

Once you're loaded into the game, the next step is to setup all the addon profiles.

XCT:
Type /xct
Click Profiles
Select "Default"
*NOTE* MAY HAVE TO GO TO FLOATING COMBAT TEXT WITHIN /XCT AND UNSELECT AND RESELECT

Skada:
Open your Interface Options, AddOns tab
Find Skada
Click the +
Click Profiles
Under Existing Profiles, select "Default"

ElvUI: SKIP INSTALLATION PROCESS
type /ec
Select profiles
make sure default is enabled.

Grid:
type /grid
select profiles
default
NOTE: I may have missed some addons. Based on the above instructions, you should get the general idea of how to switch them to the correct profile.

Not working ;(

I can't make this compillation work.
I unrar the pack: install fonts, copy interface and wtf to my wow directory instead of current one. I login into WoW and try to load 'defaults' as written here. Nothing happens - no changes to bartender, pitbull etc.
Do I need to copy the sub-directories from 'Interface' somewhere?
Many thanks for help

Hi, Thanks for great addon compilation.

Actually this question has nothing to do with your compilation;

I'm just wondering the font name which is used on the 'Addon Info' tab.

I mean the text
"Skepsis Raid UI
AFTERMATH
MAL'Ganis.Horde"
on the 'Addon info' tab

If you don't mind, could you please tell me that font name?

Thanks.

Nice UI package, but I'm having one problem that I hope is an easy fix, my minimap is generally just black, with no art, it still shows quest icons and herbs and whatnot but not having the art makes it kinda pointless... any suggestions? or a way to reset it?

Nice UI Skepsis...

Ive tried loads of Ui's and this is certainly one of the best. Its precise and tidy at the same time, and shows you everything you need to kknow. There'so nly a few bits id change. I think reflux would help this UI alot, as its easy to integrate every addon easily instead of changing profiles, and also recount it not customised when the ui is installed, so this needs to be changed. The only other issue is battleground. I do loads of BG's, and for me, a 40man raid frame is necessary. You could make ptibull chnage for a 40-man raid, or stop pitbull displaying anything in 40man raids, and using grid, as gridwould be useful, due to the amount of space which is available in the raid frame of the UI. Other than this, the Ui is perfect. Its only personal features that iwould change. Thanks for putting this together, you've clearly spent lots of time on it.

Zaal - Steamwheedle Cartel-EU .

PS - Only one other issue, it clicking tooltips in the chat frame brings up an error frame. This can be cancelled, then you can view what youve just clicked, but it gets annoying when youre looking at many different items from chat. This could just be an issue with me though.

Not sure if this has been brought up in the past, but I'm trying to find out how to add my target's level to Pitbull or whatever addon is used for Target Name. Can't seem to find it in the config. Thanks.

First timer having issues

Hi - looking for help from someone please. Downloaded this awesome UI and am having issues - read all the post in here which have helped -ty.
Still stuck on:
1) The raid names of players under my main action bars - (bottom centre) are repeated centre left of screen - which app do I attack to fix this as I only want one set as per the screenshot shown?
2) Mini map right click for world map wont work (yes I have enabled it under Atlas - but still wont work)
3) The only chat screen I get appears to be the standard WOW Chat screen - I can resize this to fit the textured background - but do I simply copy this for a second one? I would love to have damage reports and chat - or general chat and raid / BG chat (and the second background on the right is where this happens in the screenshots) but only one appears?
4) I have switched Charms off as it was dead centre top of screen - But I still get a "ready" (from this forum - I can move it) but how do I get rid of it completely unless I disable the add on?
5) How do you access your micro menu? I cant find anywhere to access it - eventually I used bartender to show the micro menu in the far left spaces and sacrifised bar 5.
Sorry so many questions - but awesome so far in the few BG's I done - ty so very much.

EDIT 1) As I figured the raid frames are now done using pitbull4 I switched Grid off and this solved the problem

EDIT 2) Duh me - nothing to do with Atlas - just it M for world map *blush*

EDIT 3). Still Stuck on this Helpppppp please!!! I can see that Pratt is used to enhance the WOW chat window - but still no idea on how to get the second one happening as per screenshot solo.

I wanted to post my findings so others that have this issue can test this out and see if this also fixes there problems.

The addons that seem to be giving me the issue is:

SharedMedia
SharedMedia-Blizzard

Please post all results so we can help skepsis keep this up.

I thought this same thing to once upon a time, but after a short bit I started getting same crit error again over and over. I love this UI, but the constant crit errors make me want to punch babies. I have no problems with other's UI's or ones that I make myself(which are vastly inferior to this one).

There are a few personal favorite addons I add in but again, when I try other compilations I don't have the same issue. I use stuff like Carbonite, Auctioneer, and Pally Power to name just a few. I will keep trying to find the answer for a bit longer, but I am becoming increasingly frustrated.
