Kith's UI (Elv UI)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 6.0
by: Kithicor [More]

Recommended Resolution: 1920x1080
Recommended Players: Raiding DPS/Heals

-------------------------------------------
ABOUT THE UI

Kith's UI is a High Performance raid UI, utilizing aesthetic components as well as perceptibility. Although developed for the Hunter Class, Kith's UI can be adapted to any class, though primarily Healer classes and Utility DPS.

With UI elements toward the bottom and center of the screen, Kith's UI provides a "one-stop-shop" kind of feel, having everything in one spot, so attention isn't thrown around, causing a delay in reaction.

--------------------------------------------

DISCLAIMER OF SUPPORT

I do not provide support for this UI package, or for the addons contained within it. It is your responsibility to keep the addons up-to-date (I use MMOUI Minion). If you have any questions about the operation of any addon within this pack, it is your responsibility to find the addon author(s) and seek support from them.

THIS UI PACK WAS CREATED TO SUPPORT 1650x1080 SCREEN RESOLUTION. Any other resolution can work, but you'll need to move various addons around (particularly Bartender, KGPanels and Omen).

--------------------------------------------

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Unpack the archive and rename folders

The archive contains three folders, all relative to your World of Warcraft installation folder. The "Fonts" folder should replace your existing Fonts folder. Same thing for the "Interface" folder. Note: The Interface folder contains many sub-folders. You need all of them. Finally, the "WTF" folder. Within this folder, under the Account folder, you'll see a folder called "ACCOUNTNAME". Rename this to your account name. Under that folder is a "SERVERNAME" folder, and under that a "CHARACTERNAME" folder. Rename those to match your server and character. If you've ever used another UI pack, this should be familiar to you.

--------------------------------------------

STEP 2: Log in to the game and setup addons

Once you're loaded into the game, the next step is to setup all the addon profiles.

XCT:
Type /xct
Click Profiles
Select "Default"
*NOTE* MAY HAVE TO GO TO FLOATING COMBAT TEXT WITHIN /XCT AND UNSELECT AND RESELECT

Skada:
Open your Interface Options, AddOns tab
Find Skada
Click the +
Click Profiles
Under Existing Profiles, select "Default"

ElvUI: SKIP INSTALLATION PROCESS
type /ec
Select profiles
make sure default is enabled.

Grid:
type /grid
select profiles
default
NOTE: I may have missed some addons. Based on the above instructions, you should get the general idea of how to switch them to the correct profile.

--------------------------------------------

ELV UI

Skada

DBM

- 4.2.0 : Updated to Elv UI (modded)

- 4.1.1 : Updated for patch 4.1

I did all that too. Not to mention that your Installation doc does not reflect the content of the zip file! Also both config.wtf had a resolution of 1280x1024 from the start!

I wish to use this suite since it look very awesome, but until things can get cleared up I don't think anyone is gonna use it. Even if I try to set up some stuff manually I fear I could forget some and I wouldn't like to be in raid with my guild just to find out everything is messed up.

This UI is very very nice looking, and a good raid UI is exactly what I'm looking for...I've just got a teeny problem...My laptops resolution is 1024 x 768...would anyone be able to adjust this UI to that size, or give me any tips how to?

Overall, it's an awesome UI, gratz.
The reason I have 2 boxes, is to have the chat separated. I have 1 main chat for party/ group/raid ETC, and one for crap I don't care about like trade chat and stuffs, so everything isn't getting lost.

Hi! Very good work, I love the UI. Although I dont like the font used for stuff in general, like chat text, Ingame Menus and that stuff. Same for those green buttons.

Is there a way to customize them myself?

Thanks for this UI!

Edit:
I also have problems with my action bars. I can't bind the top one, it seems like a copy of the botom one. Any ideas?

I would like to give your UI a try ... my resolution is 1920x1200.

Thank you.
If you could load my UI up and get a screenshot so I can see what exactly is out of place, that would be awesome =) Be sure to load my profile for the addons that allow it!
