Kith's UI (Elv UI)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 6.0
by: Kithicor [More]

Recommended Resolution: 1920x1080
Recommended Players: Raiding DPS/Heals

-------------------------------------------
ABOUT THE UI

Kith's UI is a High Performance raid UI, utilizing aesthetic components as well as perceptibility. Although developed for the Hunter Class, Kith's UI can be adapted to any class, though primarily Healer classes and Utility DPS.

With UI elements toward the bottom and center of the screen, Kith's UI provides a "one-stop-shop" kind of feel, having everything in one spot, so attention isn't thrown around, causing a delay in reaction.

--------------------------------------------

DISCLAIMER OF SUPPORT

I do not provide support for this UI package, or for the addons contained within it. It is your responsibility to keep the addons up-to-date (I use MMOUI Minion). If you have any questions about the operation of any addon within this pack, it is your responsibility to find the addon author(s) and seek support from them.

THIS UI PACK WAS CREATED TO SUPPORT 1650x1080 SCREEN RESOLUTION. Any other resolution can work, but you'll need to move various addons around (particularly Bartender, KGPanels and Omen).

--------------------------------------------

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Unpack the archive and rename folders

The archive contains three folders, all relative to your World of Warcraft installation folder. The "Fonts" folder should replace your existing Fonts folder. Same thing for the "Interface" folder. Note: The Interface folder contains many sub-folders. You need all of them. Finally, the "WTF" folder. Within this folder, under the Account folder, you'll see a folder called "ACCOUNTNAME". Rename this to your account name. Under that folder is a "SERVERNAME" folder, and under that a "CHARACTERNAME" folder. Rename those to match your server and character. If you've ever used another UI pack, this should be familiar to you.

--------------------------------------------

STEP 2: Log in to the game and setup addons

Once you're loaded into the game, the next step is to setup all the addon profiles.

XCT:
Type /xct
Click Profiles
Select "Default"
*NOTE* MAY HAVE TO GO TO FLOATING COMBAT TEXT WITHIN /XCT AND UNSELECT AND RESELECT

Skada:
Open your Interface Options, AddOns tab
Find Skada
Click the +
Click Profiles
Under Existing Profiles, select "Default"

ElvUI: SKIP INSTALLATION PROCESS
type /ec
Select profiles
make sure default is enabled.

Grid:
type /grid
select profiles
default
NOTE: I may have missed some addons. Based on the above instructions, you should get the general idea of how to switch them to the correct profile.

Well, I have still found a few addons that I am still having to manually go in and add to the SkinMe file but it's such an easy fix I don't want to see people get discouraged by the spam messages in chat box. Typically, for me at least, it seems to be the one's that I have added to this UI that are personal favorites of mine that I was getting messages about.

By the way, the credit for the fix goes to the author of Skinner, I just reposted his directions here to make it a bit easier for everyone.

This is a great UI imo, well done!

Copy it, then paste it into the SkinMe file. This will fix any Skinner messages you get in the chat frame once you restart the game.

As far as Stat Block goes, I have it turned off as it was a bit buggy for me to and it was really nothing I needed to know. If you want, log into WoW and at the character selection screen go to your addon control and uncheck StatBlocks_RangedStats. The only thing that will not be present with this turned off is your Attack Power/Spell Power/Hit/Crit line.
EVERYONE LISTEN TO THIS GUY! THIS IS A PRO TIP!!

THANKS!!!

I don't know if there is yet or not but a version of this addon in the 1440x900 resolution would be great. I'd hate to have to go through and mess with each addon. Anywho, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks..

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to install the interface but central buttons appears in middle of the screen, and other mods like recount are not in place too. I follow every step on install instructions without getting it work fine.

I use WOW in Spanish, żis that a problem? should work on it?

Thank you

Hey again, small problem i'm having with the new UI. For some reason the only profile loaded for SBF is my characters name, i've tried reinstalling the old SBF files that I know work but still nothing, is there something conflicting?

Thanks.

I was wondering where to put the folder named "UI install pix"

thnx in advance,
You dont need that to install the UI, thats just the directions on how to install it, it doesnt have to be in the wow folder, and u can just delete it if u'd like after ud install it.

The UI is pretty much exactly what i've been looking for but i can't for the life of me get it work. Some addons don't have your settings, most importantly kgpanels (I used a UI with kgpanels before, it gives me that setup when i use default profile) making it a real pain in the ass to set up. Is there anything i can do about this? =( I'm playing on EU realms if that matters.
