Description

Rune-It-All adds more features and functionality to Blizzard's rune frame, including size, movement, transparency, cooldown text, various art styles, and more.

Rune-It-All does the following:

  • Allows you to scale the size of the runes
  • Allows you to change the transparency in and out of combat
  • Allows you to unlock and lock the runes so that you can move them around
  • Has 5 unique layouts including: Vertical, Curved Up, Curved Down, Vertical Block, and Horizontal Block
  • Has 7 unique art choices including: Beta Runes, DKI Runes, and Letter Runes, Japanese Runes, Orb Runes, Runica Runes, Beta-Enhanced Runes
  • Allows you to move the runes individually
  • Has custom cooldown text (includes several options along with it)
  • Has option to show runes (when OOC - and useful when OOC alpha is less than 1) when you use a rune (e.g. Death and Decay OOC)
  • Allows you to increase or decrease the spacing between runes ("padding") Note: only works for Vertical and Horizontal layouts
  • Allows you to configure how the rune bar acts when you enter a Vehicle
  • And more...

I have released a new update that embeds Portfolio as well as unregisters Blizzard's Rune events. Hopefully this is the fix you guys have been waiting for. Please test this for me to see if this makes things any better.

Using this addon in combination with YssDrop seems to give me a lack of tooltip, but only for YSSdrop ....

Disabling RM restores it, nothing else is affecting it (disabled all, had only the two running)

I have PM'ed yssaril (author of YssDrop) in hopes that we can figure out the issue at hand. Thanks for the report

Okay, so to try and be of more assistance, i hit the training dummy in Org and did some testing, and, I think I have an idea of what's wrong...

Started attacking the dummy...

Icy Touchx2
Plague Strikex2
Heart Strikex2

I repeated this at least 10 times... all Runica rune textures held on...

Death Strike (for Death Runes) and BOOM!

1 Runica Death Rune and 1 Default Death Rune...

From there it just did a "ping pong" with the Frost and Unholy Runes going back and forth between Runica and Default textures.

I'm assuming it has something to do with the "creation" of the Death Runes...

Possibly because of 2 textures changing at one time it causing a problem?

I don't know, just an idea. My LUA knowledge is fairly limited but I hope this info helps.

First things first. LOVE the addon. Started making a new UI few days ago, piece by piece and started looking for a DK Rune addon and after some searching, happened upon your addon.

Gotta say I love it. Excellent job on the graphic and layout choices.

I noticed a "problem" so I shot over here to take a look if anyone else had the same problem and I see I am not alone.

It seems that my Frost, Unholy and Death Runes (I'm Blood Spec) seem to hop back and forth between the Runica and Default textures.

I can't seem to notice a pattern to it, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Yet in any given fight, they bounce back and forth a fair bit.

I'll list my addons below, altho I don't see any that might cause conflict.

Hope its of some help and good luck with fixing it. Still a great addon either way.

UNCHECK "Show Runes" in Player options AND

CHANGE: (line 68-69 of XPerl_Player.lua)

I'm not sure if this has been addressed already, if is has i apologize...but I use xPerl unitframes and that seems to be interfering with RM. I tried turning off runes in xPerl, but still all I see of RM is the white X to move the runes. The runes themselves don't appear on the screen.

I really love both addons, is there a way to fix this? D:

Rename your WTF and Interface folders to:

Interface_Temp
WTF_Temp

And then log in to WoW. Then log back out.

Now, download and place RuneMover into the Interface\AddOns folder. Log back into WoW again. Let me know if there are still issues with RuneMover at that point. Once you are done, just delete the Interface and WTF folders and then rename Interface_Temp and WTF_Temp back to the original names.

I had another friend run it on his laptop and it has been working fine. It seems to me like a conflicting addon.

Just don't get it. I d/l a clean version of Runemover, eliminated all the non 'Orb' image folders, and completely purged computer's cache of all files, then did a complete shutdown & restart.

Oddly enough, the Orb runes were randomly replaced by the smaller, older rune images as if I had not done a thing.

Just don't get it.

I'd say a majority of swings fires off an old-style rune image. Not always, but usually.
