Donation issues

The FAQ page is out of date as PayPal's site has had a complete overhaul: http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/f...=donations_dev

There is now a Merchant ID shown by default on the Settings page.

However when I used it to create the BBCode button and click on it to make sure it works, it returns the error:

Error Detected Error Message PayPal cannot process this transaction because of a problem with the seller's website. Please contact the seller directly to resolve this problem.

• Visit this page to create a button.
• Change the button type to donation and fill out the form
• Click 'Create Button'
• You will be given some form code, click the tab that says email (see attached image, ignore black box)
• Use the ID found at the end of the url.

Another option would be to just create your own button with bbcode. When you create your donation button in paypal just use the email url and wrap it around an image.

Hrm I see they also have a new designed page here: https://www.paypal.com/buttons/payme.../donate/create

This works the same way, create a button and use the ID generated at the end of the URL for email.
