Who could resist such an elaborated, accurate, and polite request? ;D

Code:
hooksecurefunc("CompactUnitFrame_UpdateName", function(frame)
	frame.name:Hide()
end)
If you need help turning the above code into an addon, copy and paste it into this page:

Even Google would be able to translate words like "hello", "could someone", "please", "thank you".

Because you've been such a role model for kindness in this thread yourself

Dude, go change your tampon. His post was fine, especially for someone who obviously is not fluent in English. He even ended with "thks" which anyone with half a working brain can tell means "thank you". This is an addon programmer forum. He's asking programmers for help, not beseeching the queen in some medieval court. There's no need for half the post to be sickly sweet politeness.

I think Phanx already answered the question - unless we misunderstood, in that case please elaborate, kruma!

Well, then it's me. Maybe I'm just getting to old for this "plzgivkthxbye" communication style. Or it's some kind of 'senile stubbornness'. Don't know.
Tried to change it btw. But it's stuck. Guess i've to wait till it pops out on it's own.

There's a difference between someone typing like that because (s)he thinks it's "kEwLiEz" and someone typing like that because they see those kind of abbreviations all over the internet and -- not being a native or fluent English speaker -- do not realize their use is unpopular among literate adults. I'll judge the first category all day long, but the poster of this thread is obviously in the second category and deserves some leeway.

Also, speaking from experience, it takes some courage to try to communicate in a language you know you're not fluent in. I'm still self-conscious about ordering food in Spanish, and I've been able to do that for 15 years!

First off your image is broke and even though I have no idea what it stands for I'm probably not gonna do that. Why?

Ever see a redneck take a vacation in Asia?

The image is a troll face, and that should tell you that you shouldn't actually say that, unless you want a lot of spit in your food.

I used to have some Chinese guildmates. The only non-offensive word or phrase I learned from them was "la" which is apparently the equivalent of saying "fullstop" to indicate that you have finished speaking a sentence, except you have to say it in Cantonese because it's a tonal language, so you can't use inflection to indicate whether what you're saying is a statement, question, etc. Amusingly, they even used "la" when typing in English... seemed unnecessary since there are written symbols for "that was a statement" and "that was a question" in English (and in Chinese) but amusing nonetheless.
