Cannot complete quest "Broken Serpent Figurine"

Upon obtaining the necessary mats, it gives me the "click ? to complete" prompt. However, upon clicking the dot it does nothing but display "The objective is not in the database". Had to disable Carbonite in order to complete which, of course, doesn't add anything info about it.

No, you didn't have to disable Carbonite. Hit alt-L to bring up the Blizzard quest log and complete the quest from there.

Ok, but that still doesn't resolve the actual problem. Though I think the new release does.

I got this same quest and even with addons disabled, cache folder deleted, wow restarted, it still will not complete (I tried each of those methods singly, not all at once). I put in a GM ticket and got a 7 day wait.
