auto pulling from Curse

Is that still a thing? I never remember which addons I have uploaded to Wowinterface, plus updating change logs, version errata, etc.

I seem to recall that authors could post a Curse link, and Wowi would pull and update.

Here's the main thread about it. Basically, whenever you update your Curse addon, whatever script or cronjob WoWInterface is running checks every three hours (I think) and will download that new update and automatically host it here. It only gets and hosts the file itself. It won't sync the description or update the change log.

I use it for one of my addons. I don't use packaging or a SVN site, I just edit and upload. Makes it easier to just upload to one source.

Its best if you use our api and just build us into your release script if you have one. You can use the proxy packager that p3lim created.

FYI. Changelogs are not updated yet with the auto-pull. However with the API and the proxy packager that p3lim created they are.
