Suggestion: Hide Featured Projects from New Posts

Woud be great if we had an option to hide the UI posts (e.g. realUI) or the posts about a special Addon (e.g. Carbonit) from the New posts and Today's Post in the Forum.

That feature already exists. Hover over your username up in the top right area of the page, click "User Control Panel", click "Edit Options" on the left of the next page, and scroll down to the bottom. There's a multi-select box where you can select forums to "ignore". These forums, and posts from them, will no longer show up anywhere while you're logged in.

Ok so its a bit annoying if you force us to redo our options every time a new subforum is created.
My suggestion is if you hide "Featured Projects" every subforum in this category gets auto hidden even if a new one is added. Or if I woud just hide Carbonite with all its subforums it shoud also auto add all new created Carbonite subforums.
Thanks!

I thought the same thing when I started to see Carbonite posts again a few days ago. For some reason half of WoW Interface posts are about Carbonite. I would love to hear a theory on why that happens, not like Carbonite is the most important addon or something lol.

Hi Users,

sorry that we changed our subforums,

Mostly it is because carbonite is still in development, and most comunication to users goes to this Forums, we changed our style to communicate to each other, but some discussions have to be with the Users,

sorry if we annoyed you with our Project

Greetings Samyonair

Hey, of cause not your fault or a problem with carbonit. Its just a side suggestion. This post shoud NOT prevent anyone from creating as much new forums as they want inside the Featured Projects. Its just a bit confusing, and woud be nice if we coud just hide everything in Featured Projects forever with one klick

and @ Banknorris well Carbonite IS one of the most downloaded AddOns. Over 100k/month and 10m on wowi + 5m on curse + the one from the authors webside... and its GOOD that it has its own forum here
