First, that post specifically said not to post errors, thus I have move this to a new thread.

As to your issue, is that a font you added your self? (eg SharedMedia_MyMedia) Did you reload the UI (/rl) after changing the fonts?

Did you edit the nibRealUI_Init/SharedMedia.lua file? My custom fonts now go in there and work fine.

If you want to add custom anything with sharedmedia, it should be the the _MyMedia addon. That's what it's there for.

@Out1aw: Make sure your font is actually in the folder you say it is. I just tested this out with a random font online, and it worked fine.

Before the update thats what I did, but after the update it didnt seem to work so I moved the line elsewhere.

Just moved the line back to mymedia and it seems to work now.

Did you a complete restart with the client after adding the font to the folder? The client only indexes files at startup.

Yes, in addition to adding a line in the lua file. There are more detailed instructions in the main SharedMedia addon.

I would suggest moving the font file to SharedMedia_MyMedia. Putting them in any nibRealUI* folder needlessly complicates the update process and can lead to these types of issues if not handled properly.

Ok so I just spent most of a day creating and setting up an EU account and a character on a Russian server. This was so I could see if it was possibly a regional bug, maybe specific to Russian. However, when I added my custom font it still worked flawlessly.

I would suggest double checking the font you are using that it is actually the font you want to use or possibly it got corrupted.
