That's the default behavior, if you want to use it for anything else you'd want to prefix the macro like you would in any case, with /say or /2 or whatever.
Write /say then shift-click, which is what I thought was the idea of it.

Ahh ok I just was wondering because untill now I coud create item links without and slash command in front of it
But thats OK too there is only a problem with german client. If i shift klick an item into the macro window it shows the [item link] with " /benutzen " (use) or " /anlegen " (equip) in front of it so its not possible to write a use macro without writing the slash command manualy.
