Ping?

Ive got the minimap integrated with the carbonite window. How do I ping? Before I could ping but it would disappear almost instantly. Now I cant do it at all.

Minimap around player arrow:
You have to shift left click the minimap area, since left click scrolls the map. Holding the alt key down will make the minimap area fully opaque, so you can easily see the size of it.

Minimap docked in corner:
You left click the minimap.
