Portraits?!
 

I want to be able to customize the way 3d portraits are displayed in PitBull. I would like the player portrait to have no gear and be facing forward. I would like the rest of the portraits to be normal. I have tried to edit pitbull_portraits but it doens't work and I don't know what I am doing! If anyone could help that would be great. Thanks!

The portraits are just snapshots of your character. I don't think you can have it show "no gear" as what the cameras see is how your character looks atm in-game. As for facing forward, that may be doable, though I'm not sure how - I'm not much of a coder either. ;)
