Anyone ever noticed that one's health is nearly directly proportional to one's food happiness?

All the best comfort foods are "bad for you" screw it. at least I'll die a happy (and fat) man.

The "make a pretty corpse" is important here. Ever see a 300 lb corpse? Not pretty. Gotta control those bacon urges.

From what I remember of it, isn't bacon supposed to be crunchy?

Seerah 05-17-09 06:47 PM

the non-crunchy fatty bites are the best part :p

Yhor 05-17-09 07:12 PM

Anyone else remember Sizzlean? It was like bacon, but not really, it was great on white bread with mayonnaise and black pepper. It wasn't as good as real bacon, but you could eat it a lot without the consequences of real bacon. One thing that I tried with this though, was filet mignon; I never ate sizzlean after I made that mistake.

Now, my favorite way to cook bacon is on 2 thick paper towels in the microwave. If I'm cooking breakfast, southern style (with real grits), it has to be fried in a pan, for my eggs to cook in. But the microwave thing for just getting a 'bacon fix', or having a BLT, is just too simple and too good to do it any other way.

That's my bacon thought of the day, BTotD.

The best I can come up with on a fast glance is a Sizzlean commercial. (Yes Yhor, I remember the commercials too!)
