The option to center a plugin is only there because if you do not have a plugin in the center it's the only way to get it there.
Once you have one plugin in the center others will stick to it on drag and drop the same way the plugin will stick to the left or right.

I don't know why it is not collecting the minimap button of EpicMusicPlayer. The button is named and has parent Minimap.
