Not true! At the UI & Macros Forum on Blizzard's official site, people frequently ask for simple ways to un-equip items. Normally I refer them to one of the full-featured equipment management mods, such as Outfitter. Or help them with relatively complex script commands.

That has nothing to do with DoTimer. It's a known issue caused by certain addons that have not been updated...
