Why dont you just anchor it to the TOPRIGHT of the frame against the TOPRIGHT of the BG (if you still do it like i do, havnt looked), then when the frame expands it always expands either right or down, the only problem then is if your in raid spot 2, which can be overcome by having a fake background which is what moves and anchors.
