Simply ensure that you have "Load Out of Date" AddOns selected on the main WoW AddOns Control Panel.

There have been no new areas added since the last update and the old areas have not had their node location moved or removed. Once either thing happens, we will release an update once the data is in and verified.
As for your suggestion, the Wowhead client uploads all such locations and then, once the data is correlated...
