after playing with the filter in the config frame, i think the issue is this.
i found a node in the basin, that gathererDB has 3 nodes for. It can either spawn saronite, rich saronite or titanium. I confirmed this by unchecking those 3 filters and then checking them 1 at a time to confirm which 3 nodes they were.

I think KC_Items is a bit outdated, and needs to be updated for this patch. It may have auction data, but its not returning any of that pricing data to ES, as your debug log shows.
You may want to check in with Kael.

Especially nothing that would prevent it from counting bag/bank items even after you are finish with your mailbox.
